Do you need a Change of Scenery? Look no further! Come Relax, Rest, Re-Charge and Get Closer. Come with your significant other & enjoy relaxing together on the 40’ dock, snuggling up in front of the fireplace, savouring a romantic dinner for 2 on the back deck over looking the water under the propane heater or having a few drinks around the fire pit. Everything is on the main floor. Walk right into the Kitchen, Dining Room and Living room; with a view of the water. The master bedroom is right off the living room and has a king bed with a 3 piece ensuite with jetted tub. The french doors right off the living room open up to the covered back deck with table and chairs and a propane heater. Walk further down to the Fire Pit and then down to the 40 foot dock where you can sit under the Gazebo; rain or shine!

5 stars! My partner and I stayed at Shannon’s listing for a weekend away. The house was beautiful, clean, and stocked with everything we needed - coffee, tea, pots & pans, great wifi, extra blankets on the couch! The house is also just beautifully decorated - the photos don’t do it justice!We felt very comfortable and safe at Shannon’s and in Lake Cowichan in general. We will definitely consider coming back in the summer time!
I loved staying at the lake house. It felt very luxurious having a nice big couch to relax in, a private floating dock-patio, a fully equipped kitchen, and a huge king bed. The host has put a lot of care into making this suite a place where memories are made and I was not disappointed. Shannon was also such a pleasure to exchange messages with.. her friendly personality really shined through and I felt very at ease communicating with her. I would definitely return again.. hopefully in the summer this time!
What an amazing place! Super clean and very private. The kitchen has everything you can think of, the living space is very comfortable and there is a large jetted tub to boot! The outdoor spaces are equally amazing and right on the water. Location is super convenient. Shannon was very responsive and friendly. Providing lots of good info and instructions. Would love to stay here again :)
This place is amazing! What a gorgeous space with such peaceful ambiance. Spotlessly clean and well stocked. Shannon was cheerful and very accommodating, and we absolutely loved our stay. We will be back!

There is a coffee shop; Ed’s beside the house, Jakes at the Lake Restaurant is just a few doors down; great food and patio looking out at the lake. That is also where the Tube Shack is; to rent tubes and go tubing down the river (June to Mid Sept) Mountain Man Ice cream shop is just doors down (seasonal), Sarpino's Pizzeria is right across the street, J&V’s Diner is just a bit further down; has great pizza. Plus A&W and Subway are just down the street too. You can also find the start of the Trans Canada Trail there as well. Plus a Pharmacy. PLUS a 5 minute walk, the other way, you will find Riverside Restaurant & Bar; they have great wings and live music. You will pass the Grocery Store and Liquor Store when you come into town. You can WALK to EVERYTHING! Park the car for the weekend.

I raised a daughter and son here and found my dream home on the water… now that my kids are grown; I want to share the ‘Lake Life Living’ experience with others. I’ve been a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor for 25 years, I do on-line coaching plus have an on-line clothing store; Rip Some Lip. I usually leave a shirt for my guest. ;) I absolutely LOVE being of service and helping people FEEL GOOOD; it's a passion of mine.
