A charming semi-detached barn conversion occupying a tranquil setting on a working farm, this spacious cottage provides light, fresh and cosy accommodation for six guests. Making a fantastic holiday escape for families and friends, the conversion is one of a pair of properties sharing extensive grounds with a great children’s play area. Set in a beautiful spot just a few miles from the sparkling North Cornwall coast, the cottage is ideally situated for exploring the picturesque villages, glorious beaches and breathtaking cliff-top walks of this stunning part of the county. Entering the property, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner occupies the ground floor. With a fully equipped kitchen, relaxing dining area, TV, DVD and plenty of seating, this is a wonderful space to unwind in at the end of a great day exploring this magnificent area. Going upstairs, there are three cosy and relaxing bedrooms, decorated in light neutral tones and each featuring characterful exposed wooden ceiling beams: an en-suite double room and two twin rooms, each with a TV. There’s also a pretty family bathroom. Heading outside, a private decked area has a choice of outdoor furniture and a BBQ, providing a delightful, secluded spot for dining alfresco. You can also use the large, shared garden with a pergola, seating and plenty of play facilities for children including swings, a slide and climbing frame. The cottage also offers access to a farmland path for stunning walks across the surrounding fields. Bude (7.5 miles) is known for its fantastic sandy surfing beaches and has a great range of pubs and restaurants. Also nearby are the picturesque beaches of Widemouth Bay (10.5 miles) and Sandymouth Bay (5.5 miles). Local attractions include Tamar Lakes Activity Centre (5 miles), The Milky Way Adventure Park (11 miles) and Hawker’s Hut along the Hartland Heritage Coast (6.5 miles).
