The apartment sleeps four in two large bedrooms where one carries a beautiful tartan theme that the owner designed herself. The owner's personal touches are what make this property stand out from any other; the delicious shortbread and decanter of local whisky on offer when you arrive makes you feel welcome. Set across two levels, this is the perfect base for an exciting city break. On the lower level is the first king-size bedroom and shower room. This bedroom is a romantic space with an elegant and timeless iron bed frame and rooftop views of the city. Making your way to the upper level, you'll find the second bedroom, living area and kitchen. A distinctive feature of the property is the large window in the living room, offering spectacular views of the river and cathedral next door - you may even see a wedding or two during your stay! You could sit here for hours on end watching the world go by, or keep yourself amused by becoming engrossed in a board game or a good book. The contemporary kitchen contains modern appliances to cook up a storm, with the spacious hallway doubling up as a dining area. The luxurious second bedroom features a super king-size bed which is zip-linked and can be split into twins if needs be. There are cosy slippers for you to wear if you so wish that are stored in the 'boot store' at the door; a lovely touch to encourage you to feel at home whilst enjoying your break. The location was superb, everything was within walking distance and the surroundings were peaceful and felt safe. The flat itself is wonderful, rustic but in great condition. Its big window is worth every penny! The host, Seona, was lovely and very helpful right from the start. We could communicate our circumstances and she would adapt the process accordingly.
