What a unique stay! Pieropaolo was a friendly host and took much care with the details of the restoration of this property. The house was private and peaceful. We utilized the kitchen, making several meals. There’s a walking trail with educational posts nearby that was a nice way to learn about the town. Th property is short walk or car ride to the magnificent caves. I highly recommend staying here.

It’s hard to describe how incredible and special a stay at Pierpaolo’s residence in Škocjan is. Do not miss the opportunity to stay here. Pierpaolo is as much a steward of the outdoors as he is a steward of this beautiful village, perched atop perhaps the most magnificent vistas a person can experience. To write a review is to describe the indescribable— you must see it to believe it, and Pierpaolo’s first hand experience with the locales is unmatched. An absolute highlight of our trip and we hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully restored property. Pierpaolo was a superb host and went out of his way to make sure our every need was met. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the magnificent caves. We would highly recommend a visit to the region and a stay in this stunning property.
