Sitting down a pathway just the high street in Cley-next-the-Sea, this former fisherman’s cottage is overflowing with coastal character. Showcasing an irresistible blend of period features and modern styling, it’s the ideal home-away-from-home for up to four people and one canine companion. Spend your days exploring nature reserves or browsing local farm shops and share your evenings with your loved ones around the property’s lovely wood burner. Start your day with a leisurely breakfast at the outdoor seating area in the garden. It’s the perfect place chat with your loved ones and plan the day ahead. After a day wandering along Mundesley Beach or spotting the seals at Blakeney Point, come home and head through the stable doors into the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Cook up a storm with the goodies you picked up at the farm shop and dine at the peninsula table. After dinner, head out to the garden with a bottle of something cool and crisp (please note there is a right of way to the neighbouring property), or retire to the lounge to stretch out in front of the wood burner. At the end of the day, head up the steep cottage-style stairs and you’ll find two bedrooms. There is a walk-through bedroom layout, so it’s best suited to a family. Grab your binoculars and head down to Morston Quay (3 miles) to hop onboard a boat to see the grey seal population at Blakeney Point. If you’re in the mood for some retail therapy, make your way Alby Crafts and Gardens (17.5 miles) to browse the hand-crafted artworks. Take a relaxing stroll around the four-acre gardens there and stop off for a cappuccino break.
