Take it easy at this unique and tranquil remote getaway at this Ausable River front home. Nestled in the Huron National Forest and close to Oscoda provides a plethora of outdoor activities, swimming, fishing, hiking, trail ridding, snowmobiling, CC skiing, snow shoeing, hunting (state and fed land all around), sand dune climbing and much more or just enjoy the cozy environment with a book and a fire. Make memories with your family they won't forget! Renovated, and super clean! Downstairs bedroom has a king size bed. Upstairs bedroom has a bunk bed with a queen lower and twin upper, full size futon, and twin bed. Living room has a queen size pull out bed and twin pull out chair. There is a full bathroom downstairs and bathroom with a shower upstairs.

Beautiful place and area to stay in. Stayed in April so there was nobody around . Very nice
The space was beautiful. A bit deceiving as your neighbors are extremely close creating a need for rules for visitors, quiet hours, using outdoor space etc. Overall, the home had everything you could possibly need to prepare meals. My kids enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife as well. Unfortunately, it was a rainy weekend, so we didn't get to use the property to its full potential.
This was one of the absolute best rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Cozy, clean, and extremely well appointed. There was not one thing I needed that wasn’t available. I’m picky, and I was very impressed. The view was beautiful. Location was private and so quiet. Lots of fun wildlife with the turkeys and deer. If you are looking for someplace to just chill, this is it. We brought all our own groceries and just stayed in and relaxed! Be aware that this gorgeous home is remote. The closest party store was 20 minutes away, and it looked like grocery was maybe 20-30.

The cabin is about 8 minutes down a dirt road. In the winter you would want all wheel drive. There is parking for two cars on the front of the house and parking beside the brown pole barn across the street if you need room for a trailer. Please don’t park on the grass as that is where the septic field is.
