Overall, our stay at the Captain’s Quarters was delightful! The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfy, ensuring a restful sleep. However, thin walls meant some noise from neighboring rooms. Pro-tip: pack your own plates and utensils. Plenty of towels provided, and the location is prime for accessing the coastline and nearby restaurants.

The front desk gentleman was really helpful. I wanted to wash clothes but had no detergent. He gave it to me immediately. And he’s very friendly!

Such a wonderful stay!! The space was perfect for my family. We were next to the Hearst castle and the shops/ restaurants in cambria! Highly recommend. Neil was very responsive and helpful!

Good location if you’re visiting Hearst castle. It included breakfast. Only downside was you had to drive to see anything (to be expected) and the walls were pretty thin (we could hear them making breakfast Nextdoor). Overall though, good price for the stay!
