The host and property are amazing! Margaret and Mike went above and beyond as hosts they are truly amazing! There was a very thorough folder with all the local info you could ever need. The property is just beautiful it’s well equipped , immaculate , clean, peaceful, private …all the things we need!

House is nestled in quiet Bahama Sound. Beaches are just a few minutes away by car with short trips to the food stores and restaurants. However you cannot beat the panoramic views of the entire island from the top story- just breathtaking! The property itself is well kept with all the comforts of home. Hosts provided all the information needed for first time visitors to the island. If looking for quiet affordable accommodations then this is definitely the property for you.

Margaret and Mike are wonderful and responsive hosts. Hummingbird House is not just a place to stay, it is a true home! It sits high atop Bahama Sound 11W with pano views of the Bonefish Flats all the way around to February Point! If this is your first visit, please don't let the drive in intimidate you, it's well worth it, the surroundings are amazing, quiet and the wildlife is amazing. Rest assured, you will feel alone, but there are other homes nearby! It is very quiet and relaxing, the home itself is very well-equipped with everything you will need. Arrival and departure are a breeze, communication with the hosts is amazing, they are on top of things at all times! They have also compiled some great info for guests, it's all in an information book in the home which is a huge plus. The wrap around deck on the house offers the opportunity to catch the sunrise and the sunset, the location of the home is amazing and the hosts are beyond gracious! We loved our stay!

Das Haus von Margret und Mike ist wirklich ein wunderschöner Ort um ein paar Tage auf Great Exuma zu verbringen. Es gibt so viele schöne Kolibris die um das Haus umherfliegen. Der Rundblick ist traumhaft und das Haus hat mehr als genug Platz für 4 Personen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können es sehr weiterempfehlen!

Our host was so very sweet and helpful!! Margaret talked to me for at least an hour and told me all about things to do and places to check out. She was always responsive and caring. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It’s a lovely home with such a peaceful setting and lovely owners!! Thank you for a great week!!
