Jason and Laurel are wonderful hosts. They thought of every detail for their beautiful space. Everything was just as described. The room and bathroom were very spacious and the front porch was relaxing with an incredible view of sunset over the sound. The extra perks having the beach chairs, towels, cooler and bike were great. We were able to use the gas grill to cook dinner while enjoying the view. They provided great recommendations for the nights we had dinner out and for a beautiful private beach location. Their hospitality made it feel like we were staying with friends. We'll definitely return and stay again.

Jason was an incredible host from my arrival to departure over 8 days. The unit is well decorated with a double vanity bathroom, comfortable bed, and private access. Jason was very helpful in assisting with kiteboarding from his property and even invited me on a downwinder, the highlight of my stay. Can't wait to return!

Considering the promising weather forecast (3 days with solid wind), we made a last minute decision to spend a long weekend in Hatteras Island. The wind didn't disappoint and we were very fortunate to have selected Jason's place. The clean and comfortable room with king size and large adjacent private bathroom provided everything we were looking for to accommodate our quick kite-boarding getaway. We knew we were going to have a good day on the water as we could hear the waves crashing and the wind howling! On top of the morning lessons we had already scheduled, Jason was readily available to host afternoon/sunset sessions starting from the backyard. Jason is a great instructor with lots of experience and good tips. I am certainly looking forward to returning and hope that my positive review will not jeopardize my chances to find free dates in the future ;-)
