Hi, I'm Antonio! I am 42 years old and have some experience in the world of travel, because for some years I worked in a company in which we were in charge of moving tourists and at the same time we moved a lot. I spoke English and like to meet new people, from other countries and cultures, as well as exchange with them and help them. But I'm not at all one of those businessmen stretched out in suits and ties, rather the opposite. I love literature, movies, open natural spaces, and enjoy a good conversation. Because of this complicated world in which we live, the company I worked for closed some time ago. Then I decided on a new venture with my wife: set up rooms in our home to welcome travelers from all over the world who are looking for a cozy and quiet space in which to stay in Havana. We saw it as an opportunity to maintain the family economy and at the same time continue to grow in friends. However, from our own professional knowledge, and from the exchange with other owners who for different reasons did not have the time, nor the means to make their respective proposals and spaces known, the idea of creating a small community will work according to a common effort. Thus was born a project named RentaenCuba, which in addition to helping us with the reserves has made us gain a new family, now extended to many other places of this beautiful Caribbean island. Together, we have successfully surveyed the incredible possibilities offered by platforms such as Airbnb, and we keep feedback on ideas and initiatives that allow us to provide more interesting and complete experiences to our guests. Together, we set the elementary rules so that each of the accommodations we manage has the right conditions that guarantee the visitors feel that we receive as "own home". So you know, if you are a traveler in search of the warmth and welcome that Cubans know how to provide so well, then here you have us, with open arms to receive and entertain you. Tengo 42 años de edad y algo de experiencia en el mundo de los viajes, porque durante algunos años trabajé en una compañía en la que nos encargábamos de mover turistas y al mismo tiempo nos movíamos bastante. Habló inglés y me gusta conocer a gente nueva, de otros países y culturas, así como intercambiar con ellos y ayudarles. Pero no soy para nada uno de esos empresarios estirados de traje y corbata, más bien lo contrario. Me encantan la literatura, el cine, los espacios naturales abiertos, y disfrutar de una buena conversación. Por este mundo complicado en que vivimos, la empresa para la que trabajaba cerró hace algún tiempo. Entonces decidí un nuevo emprendimiento con mi esposa: acondicionar habitaciones de nuestro hogar para recibir a viajeros de todo el mundo que buscan un espacio acogedor y tranquilo en el que hospedarse en La Habana. Lo veíamos como una oportunidad de mantener la economía familiar y al mismo tiempo seguir creciendo en amigos. Sin embargo, desde nuestros propios conocimientos profesionales, y a partir del intercambio con otros propietarios que por motivos diversos no tenían el tiempo, ni los medios para dar a conocer de forma efectiva sus respectivas propuestas y espacios, surgió la idea de crear una pequeña comunidad que trabajara en función de un empeño en común. Así nació un proyecto nombrado RentaenCuba, que además de ayudarnos con las reservas nos ha hecho ganar una nueva familia, extendida ahora a muchos otroslugares de esta bella isla caribeña. Juntos, hemos sondeado con éxito las posibilidades increíbles que brindan plataformas como Airbnb, y nos mantenemos retroalimentándonos sobre ideas e iniciativas que nos permitan brindar experiencias más interesantes y completas a nuestros huéspedes. Juntos, conformamos las normas elementales para que cada uno de los alojamientos que gestionamos cuente con las condiciones adecuadas que garanticen el hacer sentir a los visitantes que recibimos como en “casa propia”. Así que ya lo sabe, si es un viajero en busca de la acogida y el calor humano que sabemos brindar tan bien los cubanos, pues aquí nos tiene, con los brazos abiertos para recibirle y agasajarlo.
