Barbara and Rick provided clear information and were welcoming. The cottage was as described and quite spacious with excellent amenities. Good location to explore Skye from.
het huisje is hee compleet ingericht. Rick en Barbara heetten ons zeer hartelijk welkom. Zij waren altijd bereid om informatie te geven. Wij kregen heerlijke eitjes van hun eigen kippen. Zeer hartelijke en lieve mensen. Ik zou Crab cottage iedereen aanraden. Het is schoon, fris en opgeruimd. Je voelt je direct thuis.
We had a lovely stay in crab cottage! It was very clean and cozy and it had everything we needed (and more!). Barbara and Rick were very welcoming and kind. It was a perfect place to explore Isle of Skye.
Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Crab Cottage! Rick und Barbara sind tolle, freundliche Gastgeber und haben an alles gedacht. Das Haus ist sehr gut aisgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es gibt sogar Ordner mit vorgeschlagenen Wanderungen zu versteckten Orten auf der Insel. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit bei euch!
Barbara & Rick were perfect hosts! From the earliest messages, everything was easy & kind, Barbara was understanding and very helpful with our search for a nice place to have dinner.. The cottage is a lovely place, very well furnished & equipped, and moreover it was impeccable, truly spotless! That was very appreciated. The breakfast with the sheeps, lambs, little birds and even a bunny in front of the window was wonderful! We can only but warmly recommend the crab cottage and their great hosts. 😍🫶🥰

We have lived on Skye for over 30 years. I work locally as a teacher and Rick, having retired, spends his time messing about with boats. Last year we re-homed an elderly collie called Brec. He can’t see very well and is a bit deaf so he does bark when he sees people he doesn’t know. He even barks at us until he realises who we are! We keep him on a lead when there are people about and when we walk him past the cottage.
