We stayed for two nights to be close to friends in Somerville, the location was great. There is a lock on the door (though we didn’t use it). To get to the unit, you walk all the way around the house, through the back yard grass. If you were intending to dress nicely and go into the city you’ll need spare shoes that can get wet to your car. The wifi only worked if we were standing immediately next to the antenna in the bedroom, it was not functional anywhere else in the unit, doing work was impossible. Many things were listed inaccurately in the posting. It’s rained a ton in NE but this unit needs a dehumidifier BADLY. It’s very damp and has a strong musty/wet dog smell in the bedroom. Thick mildew under the shower mat. No body wash, hair dryer, or bath towels. No spare pillows accessible and the two down ones on the bed were very dirty and went flat. Sheets were clean! Large spiderwebs on ceiling and behind headboard. Towel ring and cabinet pulls broken, taped on, or missing.

My husband and I stayed for two nights. We really didn’t spend much time at the place other than sleeping. Sarah was very responsive and understanding when we weren’t able to check in until 10PM and even offered to bring us umbrellas and help us with our bags. It was basically our crash pad for our weekend in Salem. The furniture in the living area is a bit worn/stained but for our purposes the place worked out well. It’s a very pretty, secluded area too.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful and greeted us with pleasure. The apartment is very spacious and clean. Highly recommend!
