This beautiful house offers a spacious retreat for your holiday. It's ideal for families or groups of friends seeking a relaxed base to socialise and enjoy the all that Croyde has to offer. Holidays are about doing what you love and spending time with family and friends is always top of that list. This beautifully presented 3-bedroom house with an integral 2-bedroom adjoining annex is the perfect holiday home to get together. With its large social spaces and flexible lay out, it is sure to meet everyone's needs. Located a few minutes walking distance from the beach and just a short stroll from the centre of this beautiful village with its restaurants and bars. Spend the morning in the sea or soaking up the sun at the beach, pop home for lunch (or an afternoon nap!) before taking a wander into the village to soak up the atmosphere or grab a bite to eat. The main property has three bedrooms. The master, with super-king bed can also be used as an office space and has a desk provided. An additional twin room and triple bunk room (double bed with single bunk) complete the sleeping accommodation. There is a family bathroom with shower, WC and bath. There is also a separate WC and an additional shower room located in the garage, great for washing off the sand after a day at the beach. The spacious kitchen has direct access to the dining area, and a separate utility area is great for storing your beach equipment and outdoor gear. A luxurious living room has plenty of seating options for a cosy night in. Double doors from the lounge, connect to the dining area with a large dining table, great for family meals, additional social seating and views across the garden. Access to the annex accommodation is via the dining area. This is a fully self-contained unit with its own access and garden area, kitchen, shower room and lounge. A further twin room and a double bedroom complete the accommodation. If you fancy a day of rest and quiet, the enclosed private gardens are a great place for relaxing in the sun or alfresco dining. Grab a book, an ice-cold drink, sit back and relax! If you love the great outdoors, there are endless coastal walks to be explored all offering spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and neighbouring villages. Take a wander up to Baggy Point, grab a coffee from the vibrant local surf café and take a stroll to nearby Putsborough or Woolacombe. Happy Holidays! Excellent location & the bungalow is well equipped with everything you could need.
Wow! This really was a home from home and had everything we needed, games for the kids, towels for everyone, all the right pots and pans and kitchen equipment to be able to make home cooked meals. I would say the photos don’t really give you a true picture of the space that’s available as we had two families and grandparent and all had our own space with a good sized communal eating space/living room for movie nights, trampoline and basketball in the front garden also provided some additional fun for the kids. We really did have a lovely time here and would recommend this property and host to others. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. We would certainly rebook.
The house is a great size, we were a large family with young children and also used the annex which gave us a good amount of different spaces to use. The garden is lovely and in such a good location for the beach, walks along the coastal path and pubs / food.
Just had an amazing Easter. The house has loads of space, parking, walk to beach etc and very well equipped. It was spotless with lovely comfy beds, fluffy towels and fresh linen. Defo come again.
Lovely, clean beach cottage near the beach. Very convenient to local restaurants and a 5-10 min walk to the beach. Sarah was easy to reach and quick to respond to questions. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Everyone who visits Croyde falls in love with the place. Often referred to as the jewel in North Devon's crown, Croyde is a timeless place full of traditional thatched roofs cottages, surrounded by stunning countryside with one of the best surfing beaches in the UK.
Croyde caters for all ages and tastes. Behind the thatched roofs and cob walls are traditional pubs serving local foods and ales, gift shops and tea shops serving Devonshire cream teas. Croyde is a vibrant place with a lively surfing scene, attracting surfers, young people and families from all over the world. The surfing scene has brought with it more modern businesses offering a wider variety of pubs, restaurants and bars along with surf shops offering sales, hire and lessons.
North Devon has recently become the 12th location from around the globe to be selected as a World Surfing Reserve, recognising and celebrating the area's outstanding quality surfing beaches. The area has been recognized not only for its high quality and diversity of surf breaks, but also for the unique natural beauty of its surroundings, its deep-rooted and historic surf culture, and its importance to the wider community. With several excellent surfing beaches all within a short drive of Croyde, as well as Croyde Bay itself, you will be spoilt for choice in your quest for a perfect wave.
If you wish to explore a little further afield then there is a local bus that services the village. The route covers the main villages and towns from Ilfracombe to Westward Ho on the other side of the estuary. This is a great way to explore some of the other beaches in the area and avoid having to find somewhere to park.
There are several local taxi firms that service the area if you wish to use them. It is recommended that you book in advance if you wish to hire a taxi, as they do book up fairly quickly, especially in high season.

We are Sarah and Chris Betteridge. We have been operating Holidays in Croyde, exclusively in Croyde for over 20 years . Starting small, renting out our own properties, and over the years gathering a collection of properties owned by family, friends, and new friends. Sarah loves helping people find the perfect holiday home for their treasured get always. She is always on the end of the phone if you need advice or help during your stay. Chris is a builder and works with our owners to maintain their properties and ensure they are ready for each new guest that walks through the doors. During your stay you will regularly see both Chris and Sarah out and about, so do stop to chat and let us know how you are getting on.
