Margot's place is beautiful. Quiet and serene, with perfect outdoor space. Very close to local things to do: wineries, cidery, Malahat SkyWalk, Shawnigan Lake, Kinsol Tressel, hiking trails. And perfect if all you want to do is sit in silence and read a great book! Well, near silence. The chickens will want to tell you stories, but they are entertaining, too! We hope to return one day to enjoy this perfect getaway space!

I was in the area for work and this place worked wonderfully. Check in was easy and the place was beautiful. The kitchen was great for cooking my own meals and the hosts were great, even when I accidentally set off the smoke detector early in the morning.

Margot's accommodation was the most beautiful we have had the pleasure of staying in so far. The surroundings are pure nature and wonderfully calm and peaceful. In the mornings during breakfast, the sweet cat, who loves to be petted, would already be waiting for us. Margot is always super accessible, an incredibly kind person, and very helpful, and we loved talking with her. The absolute highlight was her delicious muffins, which she brought over to us multiple times. Thank you very much, Margot, for allowing us to be your guests. We would love to come back again!
