Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. Enjoy the ocean and mountain views from the spacious deck. Well behaved pets are welcome and will have fun exploring the large fully fenced yard. This is beach front, but it is high-bank, & not great access for small children - however there is easy access to the private beach from the public dock next door. The pebble beach is perfect for swimming & playing with its easy slope (no drop offs!). The public dock is great for kayaks and sups. Enjoy the perfect west coast escape at our family cottage. The fully fenced yard is perfect for active dogs and active kids. There is a fire pit with cape cod chairs to take advantage of the view, and the perfect place to spend a peaceful evening. The heritage cottage has been lovingly cared for and kept modern, despite some of it's quirks (the "lift" to the sloping floor resulted in a small step up into the living area). The kitchen has been upgraded with chef style appliance's (see the pictures!), and cooking with the view makes the whole process a treat! The spacious deck & large patio table (and hammock lounger) with 3 bedrooms and free parking for 3 vehicles; make this a great place to come with friends or family. This water front property has a private beach, with a gentle slope into the Salish Sea. Kayaks, canoes or small motor boats can be pulled up and stored & secured above the high-tide line, but will have to be put in at the public dock (next door), or at the marina a few properties down the beach. The dryer is in the "mud room", however the only place for the washer is in the 3rd bed-room. This room also has the hot-water tank. The cottage is walking distance to the village center (600m) where grocery, liquor and drug stores are located, as well as 3 restaurants and 2 spectacular coffee shops. Fast food is close by. The marina and the famous Bridgeman's restaurant on the dock is an 8 minute walk home, so no taxi's required!
