The High Run Delite was the perfect spot for our annual fall get away. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a thoughtful note and everything needed for delicious s’mores. The house had everything we needed for the perfect fall vacation experience - a great fire pit, warm hot tub, and pleasant woods setting. We spent days hiking in the nearby parks, including a day trip to Gettysburg National Park. I would recommend this place to folks looking yo enjoy the outdoors and small town hospitality.

As we drove up to the driveway our family was amazed at the property with beautiful woods and a creek! The home was fully stocked with everything you might need. The host was very helpful and responsive. The home was clean and comfortable. We loved the massage chair, hot tub, and fire pit! I especially enjoyed having my coffee in the morning by the creek. It was such a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time and LOVED the setting. It felt private and secluded but wasn't far from the main road which made it easy to get out and about. The house was clean and well stocked with indoor and outdoor toys for the kids. The outdoor spaces were all clear of debris and recently cleaned. They even built a fire in the pit to save us the trouble! My kids are already begging to go back next summer. Thank you, Margaret and Joe!

Margaret & Joe's place is a beautiful, spacious house with gorgeous property. We had 3 generations staying for our family vacation, and we had everything we needed. So well stocked - from child gates, pack n plays, toys, kitchen appliances & amenities - they thought of everything! Super clean and comfortable. The grandkids loved the frog pond, and the adults loved the deck, fire pit, hot tub, and gazebo for hanging out. Such a beautiful setting, with a large front lawn and picturesque creek. A great location for driving to things to do. Immediately nearby, we went to Cunningham Falls State Park and the Wildlife Preserve. A little further drive, we visited DC, Gettysburg, Baltimore Aquarium & inner harbor, went tubing at Harper's Ferry, and explored Frederick (the kids swam in the very nice pool there). Convenient to restaurants, grocery, etc. Margaret & Joe were very friendly, responsive, and attentive hosts, and we would highly recommend their vacation home!
