This home had everything my family needed and more. From the indoor play area to the kayak’s; my 6 children did not spend anytime in doors. Everything was spotless and we did not have any complaints. The neighborhood is very peaceful/safe. We didn’t have any trouble finding the home, but it is on a steep hill so be careful when turning in.

The house was spacious and beautiful, and the water access and surroundings were unmatched. We enjoyed the amenities like the hot tub and gas fire pit. This place was perfect for our quiet girls weekend getaway. The only detractor was the inordinate amount of indoor houseflies. While the house was otherwise spotless, we spent a lot of time having to shoo/swat swarms of flies all weekend long in every room of the house, and that was both a nuisance and kind of gross. Minus the flies though, this place was gorgeous.

This is the first time our family has stayed at an Airbnb as a destination. There was so much to do in the house and outside. We played more games and spent more time in the hot tub than we did on any screens! It was just a lovely, quiet, and enchanting spot.

We had a wonderful girls’ weekend at the Rookery. The home was well set up for our stay. The only drawback is that the upper bunks really only fit small children. Rob was very responsive to any questions we had. I’m sure that in warmer months there is a lot to do, but all we wanted was a nice quiet weekend with friends so it was perfect.
