we had a wonderfully warm welcome from Zoe. the barn is beautiful, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need.... including a resident barn owl. thank you zoe, we will definitely be back x

What a wonderful find Buttercup barn was! Check in was extremely easy due to the clear instructions and good communication. A pint of milk in the fridge, to make a cuppa after a long journey, was the first of several, thoughtful welcome touches that helped make us feel at home when we arrived. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, we both slept very well in the comfortable beds and were able to prepare meals, and packed lunches easily with the facilities and equipment available. Zoe and David were very friendly and welcoming, giving us tips and suggestions of places to visit, and when my friend’s bike had a flat tyre, (and we discovered our pump was also broken) David saved our trip and helped us with an electric pump. The idyllic location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Suffolk countryside and coast, and I would highly recommend it as a base to return to and enjoy a cool drink on the patio, watching the glorious sunset beyond the beautiful garden.

A perfect place for a relaxing Christmas break. Clean, well equipped, finished to a high standard and beautifully decorated for Christmas, including garlands on the beautiful beams. We were delighted with the welcome treats they left for us. Zoe and David were friendly and very helpful, quick to respond to queries and suggested some great local pubs for us to try (which we enjoyed very much). We loved the tranquil setting of the barn, being surrounded by fields and would definitely love to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a remote Suffolk countryside stay. Thank you very much for such a lovely break.
