Get cozy and settle into this rustic space! This cozy tiny home is perfect for couples looking to get away from it all. Overlooking the scenic Needmore Ranch and featuring a working water wheel powered by the nearby Stephen's Spring, the Spring House Tiny Home is perfect for couples reconnecting with nature, accessing the nearby Illinois River, or relaxing with that significant other. Guests will have access to over 400 acres of private property to hike, explore, or view the local wildlife. The Spring House is indeed a tiny "tiny home" with just over 200 square feet of space. Upstairs the lofted area serves as the sleeping quarters with a queen size mattress. Downstairs contains the kitchen/living area plus a full bathroom with a shower stall. The kitchen has an electric countertop range, toaster oven, small microwave, coffee maker, blender, mixer, and crockpot. The refrigerator is a mini fridge. There are also pots and pans, cooking utensils, and various kitchenware.

Super relaxed birthday weekend getaway. We loved the surroundings, hiking and the quiet. Felt secluded but easy access to Tahlequah for dining and shopping.

This is a must stay, for people who like to get away from city life. I prefer to book air bnb for work travel versus hotels. Misty and Tony were very responsive and helpful. The river access is a great place to kick back relax. The cabin was beautiful and I plan on coming back in a few weeks and staying again.
this was a fun little weekend trip my wife and I took. everything was how it was presented in the listing and it was very peaceful out. The water wheel attached to the side of the little cabin has a tiny little squeak to it if it's completely silent inside you can hear it but that didn't bother us too much. overall pleasant experience and we will be back for sure.
Very cute tiny house. Great value for a clean quiet Airbnb. There was nothing lacking in the house to make your stay comfortable. Thanks again to Misty and Tony for making this memorable and enjoyable. God bless

The Spring House is located on ranch property in a rural area. There is an A-Frame cabin located nearby on the same property 100 yards to the south that is sometimes occupied by other Airbnb guests.
It sits approximately 1/2 mile (an easy hike or short drive through the property) from the Illinois River on 400+ acres of private property that borders the river, with close to a mile of river frontage. Its location makes for the perfect opportunity for activities such as hiking, fishing, or viewing the abundant deer and wild turkey populations on this property.
The Sparrowhawk Primitive Area is just 3 miles from the property on the same county road. Featuring public hiking trails with spectacular views; it has long been a popular place for hiking and nature enthusiasts.
Finding a place to rent canoes or rafts to float the river is easily done from this location. Diamondhead and Sparrow Hawk float trip resorts are each within a short 15 minute drive from the cabin.
The beautiful and historic city of Tahlequah is only 7 miles away.
Going to the river from the cabin is just over a 1/2 mile hike or drive. You are welcome to do either; just whatever suits you best. You will be driving a path through pasture land if you choose to drive. If you stay on the designated path you shouldn’t have any issues, unless there have been recent heavy rains.
