Bring the whole family or a group of friends to our brand new spacious home, that was made with love, for everybody to have a lot of fun and relaxing time, while visiting Ormos village. Dimitris place is brand new house, that we made with love and passion. As you enter, you find yourself in our open plan living room / kitchen / dining area. We chose open plan, so that everybody can be together, and separate at the same time. Perfect for big family and also group of friends. The kitchen is equipped with everything, you might need. Toaster, juicer, kettle, french press, dish washer, fridge with water dispenser… Enjoy a movie night on 55inch smart tv. Play some chess or tavli. Read a book. Enjoy your coffee or dinner indoors or outdoors, on our cozy patio. As you walk upstairs, you find large build in closet, where you can leave most of your luggage and clothes. But all your personal items fit nicely in the drawers in each of the three bedrooms. Bedroom no1 has double bed with aloe vera mattress, nice fluffy pillows, small tv and a private balcony. Bedroom no2 has also a double bed with aloe vera mattress, the fluffiest pillows, tv, private balcony to the other side of the building. Bedroom no3 has two single beds, with aloe vera mattresses, large balcony with harmonica door, that opens all the way to the side. And small tv. Upstairs we have spacious bathroom, with bath tub, shower, large sink and washer. Dimitris place will be set and ready upon your arrival, and equipped with everything, you might need. In case you would like extra house keeping, freshen up, change of sheets and towels, contact us ahead, and we will arrange everything, for a small fee. We are always available and will do our best, to make your stay as comfortable and unforgettable, as possible. :)

Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Appartement in einer sehr guten und ruhigeren Umgebung, mit vielen Restaurants und Tavernen mit leckerem Essen. Die Wohnung war mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Mike und Karolina haben sehr schnell auf die Nachrichten beantwortet und haben uns auch sehr herzlich zum Schlüsselübergabe empfangen. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.
We enjoyed Mike’s place allot. The house matches our expectations and even more. The village is peaceful, the beaches near by are great. The house is spacious and well equipped . We would definitely want to come back in the future.
This is a beautiful house that exceeds expectations. The place is very well restored and decorated, it is well furnished, comfortable, super clean, and a delight to be in. The house is well located just a few steps from the restaurants, bars, and small shops. Karolina, Mike, Dimitris, and family are super helpful, supplying water, wine, honey, fruit, and a good selection of teas for our arrival. The area is peaceful but with enough choices of restaurants and bars. There are lovely beaches nearby and driving around is easy as there is very little traffic. We enjoyed a very happy stay. What an excellent place to be!
Ormos is een ontzettend knus dorpje met een prima supermarktje, een leuke haven en heerlijke restaurants en 2 prima bakkers. Het huis ligt in een rustig zijstraatje en is echt heel ruim en prachtig met 3 balkons en een beschutte veranda. Mike en Karolina zijn superaardige hosts en reageren altijd snel. Wij hebben erg genoten!
The house is just perfect in terms of location, decoration, etc. It is very clean , have all things you need like dishwasher, washing machine, french press. All windows have net. We stayed in this place 3 people but they can accomodate 6-7 people easily. (They have 2 double bed & 2 single bed and downstairs there is big couch so one child also can sleep) House is just few meters from the Ormos Marathompos main street (which is very quite) and as near as the beach. You can walk the beach in 3-4 min. We liked the town , it is good for relaxing. Every Wednesday & Friday live Greek music (not touristic), very local place. We like the restaurant Trata, owner's restaurant pizza Cave and other places like Kerkis Bay to drink something. Limnonas is very nice beach and you can reach in 15-20 min by car. Also Kaladakia beach have similiar time to reach.

Ormos Marathokampou is beautiful small traditional fishing village, with marina, where you find pretty colourful fishing boats. You can also find the fisherman in the morning, and get yourself nice fresh catch. Ormos has nice variety of taverns and restaurants, as well as bar and cafe. So you will be able to enjoy the pure Greek life as well as the fun tourist life... Of course the unspoiled beaches and green nature is all around here.
Take a boat trip to Samiopoula island, or to the caves all the way to West Samos.
Take a fishing boat trip for another unique experience. Hike up to the mount Kerkis. Explore all of the caves and nature around.
There are few car rental places, which provide small cars, jeeps, quads, bikes, scooters and bicycles. We always recommend to rent some kind of vehicle, so you can freely explore the island, mountains, caves and beaches. If you prefer walking, that is of course an option, but you won't explore as much of the island. Taxi is available, but can be a little bit pricey. Bus runs twice a day. And if you feel adventurous, you can hitch hike around the island as well. It is totally safe. :)

My name is Mike. I have lived on Samos island for most of my life. We run our family studios - Jimmy's Place and vacation houses - Dimitri’s Place, Konstantino’s Place and Mike’s Place as well our restaurant Pizza Cave with my wife Karolina, who is originally from Prague, Czechia. In the Pizza Cave I have selection of a musical instruments, which I lend to musicians, because I just enjoy music and ice cold beers. We hope to meet some of Airbnb peeps here in Ormos Marathokampos and share a drink and some good stories with you. We both wish you safe travels! :)
