Relax with the whole family at this picturesque west Bozeman home. Feels like country living, but is just 15 minutes from the heart of downtown. The house is on a half acre with a 7 acre field behind it. My home has three upstairs bedrooms, a queen pull out couch in one of the living rooms and a self inflatable queen air mattress. The master suite is large with a nook area set up for relaxing. There is a designated workspace in the master bedroom with a desk, office supplies, comfortable adjustable chair, incredible unobstructed view of the Bridger Mountains, portable air conditioner, private bathroom with separate shower, soaking tub and two sinks. The other two bedrooms have queen beds, fans, lots of dresser and closet space and nice views. One also has a desk with supplies. The other upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower. There is a child safety gate at the top of the stairs and another portable one downstairs. There is also a high chair, potty chair, toddler dishware and a crib with cozy bedding. The safety gate, highchair, dishware and potty chair are in the closet under the stairs. The crib is stored in the master bedroom closet (instructions for easy set up are included). I've set things up to be kid ready and really enjoy knowing that kids are having fun ay my home, but with that also come some worries (working in elementary schools for 33 years does that)! Following are possible hazards to be aware of. By booking your rental, you are acknowledging you are aware of the possible hazards listed below and except full responsibility for keeping you and your children as safe possible at all times. - it is not possible, with the amount of snow we get here, to keep all areas free of ice - shovels and ice melt are provided but there will still be icy areas (esp. going to and from the hot tub) children under 10 are not allowed in the hot tub or the creek area without an adult, absolutely no glass, food or drink in the hot tub - there could be sharp rocks or glass in the creek so water shoes are highly recommended - there are a few cracks in the driveway that could possibly be a tripping hazard so beware - please do not let children near the gas grill, gas stove or fireplace - be aware the cupboards and outlets are not childproof - the stairway is steep so gates must be used The large backyard is fenced for privacy with a creek just outside the fence that is also part of the property. There is a nice shade tree, table, and plenty of chairs for relaxing near the creek. One living room has a wood fireplace, which provides nice ambiance on a chilly night. There is a 4 person hot tub on the patio with amazing views of the Bridger Mountains. The patio also has a table with umbrella, large gas grill and plenty of extra chairs. Board games, kid toys, books and arts and crafts supplies are also provided. The kitchen is well stocked with newer appliances, cookware, bakeware, utensils, gas stove, variety of spices, air fryer, Instant Pot, crock pot, blender, wine supplies and a coffee/cocoa/tea bar. A good cup of Montana roasted coffee is the only way to start the day in my book - if you feel the same, know that it will be provided along with a variety of tea and cocoa mix. There is a half bath downstairs and laundry room with washer/dryer and utility sink. One living room has a smart TV, couch with extension on one end and chair. The other has comfy chairs, pull out couch and fireplace. My house is set up for dogs, however I’m sorry to say I'm not allowing them for visitors. Support and service animals are always welcome. If you have dog allergies, you might want to avoid staying in my home. Great care has been taken to remove as much dog hair as possible, however, the dander can linger and I would feel awful if you had a reaction. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. There are walking/biking trails, a playground and community pond in the subdivision. My home location is great as it is halfway between Bozeman and Belgrade. Bridger Bowl Ski Area - 25 minutes, Big Sky Ski Resort - 1 hour, airport - 11 minutes, Belgrade grocery stores Albertsons and Town & Country - 10 minutes, Smiths Grocery Bozeman - 11 minutes, Costco 7 minutes, Town Pump gas and convenient store on Valley Center Road - 5 minutes, West Yellowstone entrance to Yellowstone Park - 1 hour 37 minutes, north entrance to Yellowstone at Gardner - 1 hour 22 minutes, Bozeman Hot Springs - 11 minutes. There are many places to mountain bike, zip line, white water raft, cross country ski, ice skate, sled and ice fish, hike, swim, float...fun area!
