The place was great! The only thing that was confusing was the check-in instructions said to fill out form B, but there’s nothing to fill out on it. So I just signed it and put it in the box. Also the room name she gave me didn’t match the room name on the key so that was confusing as well. I texted and tried to call her during check-in, but got no response. Despite the confusion, everything else went fine during check-in. The greatest part about it was there was not another booking for the next day, so she gave us as long as we needed to check out. She was very flexible about that, and that felt really great! We got to meet her and her husband and they are great people. They also have very friendly cats that roam the property. The atmosphere was so peaceful being away from the big city. And it’s close to Black Mesa which we went and climbed the next day. It also has a playground which is very accommodating for bringing children. All in all, a great place to stay!!

Very welcoming place. Exactly as described! There were 3 barn cats and 2 of them were mamas with litters of newborn kittens. It was so precious seeing them! There are some cobwebs in the shower ceilings, but the place was pretty typical for a barn/farm stay. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash options available are limited, bring your own if you want more options! They even have a fridge with snacks available (for purchase) in the barn. The first night was cloudy but our second night we were able to see all the stars, so beautiful. This is a great spot to stay at if you are traveling near that area for Black Mesa State Park or on the way to Texas.

A perfect place to stay if passing through the western panhandle. Be certain to read the description as it’s exactly as described. It is way out there, but is as described.
