An absolutely breathtaking experience, surrounded by the most beautiful mountain views and animals, it’s a must see especially if you’re crossing through Turrialba! Ann-Elin and Aldo (along with Alex and Andres who work on the farm) are the kindest people you will meet and have a refreshing passion towards growing cacao in a sustainable way. Not only did I enjoy learning about the cacao and chocolate making process but I was also lucky enough to join a cacao ceremony they were having during my stay! The house is quiet, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Ann-Elin also went above and beyond providing me with a taxista and bus schedule along with things to do in the area as well! I can’t thank you all enough for such an amazing time here, if you’re thinking about it go ahead and book it, you won’t regret it!

Super hosts! Allowed me to check in last minute and were there within minutes to save me when I locked myself out. Beautiful people, highly recommend! the farm tour was fun and educational too. 😊

Our stay at Nortico Cacao Farm has been the absolute highlight of our trip! Alex gave us an amazing tour of the farm and we learned how chocolate is made. He's extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions with passion. seeing the whole process of making chocolate was exciting and fascinating. The work that the owners of the farm and everyone in their community are doing to create delicious, sustainable chocolate is inspiring! They approach the idea of sustainability holistically by thinking of the well-being of community members, plants, animals, and the soil, all while thinking about the future and generations to come. I hope everyone goes to visit this farm to learn about what they're doing! and I can say with certainty that their chocolate is the best I have ever tasted.

Sehr sauberes geräumiges Haus. Die Bundesstraße hört man gar nicht, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Zudem gute Lage für Ausflüge in der Region. Die sollte man auch vorhaben, denn es gibt keinen Garten! Es gibt nur eine kleine Überdachung am Eingang, der aber ab dem Vormittag in der Sonne steht. Zufahrt mit PKW geht bestimmt, wir würden aber einen SUV empfehlen
