The place is such a hidden gem in the middle of Menaggio town. Lake view, accessible by car, less than 200m walk to restaurant, gelato shop, bar. 500m walks to supermarket, to the ferry. Thankfully we booked the apartment. The interior is a mix of 300 old beauty and modern comfort. Highly recommend.

The apartment is just as the pictures describe - soaring ceilings, impeccably clean, with the best view in Lake Como. The ferry and bus are a short walk away, and the most breathtaking views are right outside your window. Federica is lovely, and quick to help where she can. Some things to keep in mind, however: the internet is incredibly slow. I had to cancel a work-related video call halfway through, because the connection was too poor. Federica was able to connect me to a somewhat faster internet so I wouldn't have to cancel my 3 video meetings the next day, but even that connection wasn't amazing (it didn't even hit 15mbps). Of course, if you don't require much in the way of internet, you should be fine! The other thing to note, if you happen to be going during colder months, is that you won't be able to control the temperature anywhere but the bedrooms. The heat was set to 21°C (70°F), but mostly fluctuated between 19.5°- 20.5°, which was cold for us. But for some, that's pleasant!

This location was perfect for our stay on lake Como! The flat was beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the water. We were able to walk to and from the ferry station and enjoy dining at the local spots only a few short minutes walking distance from the apartment. Communication with Federica was easy and efficient, and she even left us a wonderful gift basket of snacks, pasta and Prosecco. I’d highly recommend this for a stay in Menaggio!

Frederica met us at the Villa. Gave us a tour and separated the beds since it was for 4 women. She had a beautiful welcome basket full of munches and wine. The living room made you feel you were stepping back in time. I could stare all day just at the ceiling above. Kitchen had everything you needed and then some. Showers had plenty of hot water and the towels were wrapped with a bow. The location is ideal since it is located in town square. Surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops and the best Gelato in town. The ferry doc is a 7 min walk and the water taxi is 2 min. We would very much stay here again! You will not be disappointed. By far the best AirBnB in Lake Como.
