Romantic grade 2 listed stone cottage . Perfect for a cosy winter break with a large woodburner to warm you and electric heating should you need it. Throws for you and your pets to snuggle up with. Open plan kitchen, double bed and a walk-in shower bathroom. A beautiful south facing garden with stunning willow tree. The Southwest Coast Path is easily reached from the doorstep and lots of amazing dog walks. Swanage beach and town with its many independent shops and cafes is a 15 minute walk. The cottage is on two levels with open plan living down stairs. In the centre is a large woodburner. The heating which is electric wall mounted radiators are controlled by a fixed thermostat. One upstairs one down stairs and towel heater combined radiator in the shower room,there are extra radiators in storage if you need them. There is ample room for dinning and relaxing and a smart tv. It has cosy lighting throughout to complement its natural romantic feel. We leave furry friends a bowl and their own blankets. The floors downstairs are purbeck stone tiles.

We stayed 3 nights with our dog and we had an absolutely fantastic weekend. Libby always responded promptly and answered any queries. instructions were spot on for getting in. Parking is on the street outside but we had no problem finding a space and once parked, our car did not get moved the whole weekend! Libby's place is a lovely cute little cottage with a great garden. It's a 20/25 min walk in via The High Street. Thoroughly recommend The Black Swan pub for food but best book as gets busy and booked up. Steam train to Corfe Castle is a fantastic day out and a great experience. Little touches for dogs....bowl and blanket and lovely fresh loaf, preserves and milk left for us. We would definiately recommend Willow Tree Cottage and we would definiately stay here again in the future.
We stayed at this beautiful cottage for our week away and loved every moment. The cottage is in a fantastic location, with a great sized garden and with personal touches throughout. We will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely stay at Willow Tree Cottage, all as described and everything you need is provided. Arrived to find heating on and a cosy welcoming and bright space. Great to be able to leave the car and walk into town or out over the hills. Not warm enough to sit out in the garden on this visit but hopefully next time!
The cottage was everything as described and more. From booking to arrival the service was excellent. The cottage was very clean and had an information book that was extremely helpful to our stay. The welcome pack was fabulous especially the yummy fresh bread. Our little dog enjoyed playing with the ball & snuggled with the blanket. Libby has been very thoughtful with what has been left in the cottage for her guests. Would definitely return.

Bell Street is one of the oldest streets in Swanage. It hosts a quaint church and listed buildings . Within a three-minute walk you will find the Globe Inn with beer garden, the Golden Bengal Tandoori Restaurant and Takeaway, a fish and chip shop, a Costcutters convenience store, which is also a post office and butcher's, bus stops for the No 40 bus to Swanage town centre and beaches, Langton Matravers and Corfe Castle (and on into Poole). It is a short walk from the cottage to the famous Priest's Way footpath and bridle way, from where there is easy access to a range of glorious footpaths, including the Southwest Coast Path. Popular walkable destinations include Dancing Ledge, Chapman's Pool, the Square and Compass Pub and the pretty village of Langton Matravers. Swanage beach is a 15 walk away and it is a 15 minute drive to the fabulous National Trust protected beaches and heathland at Studland.
Parking is on-street and free. At busy times it may be necessary to park a little way up Bell Street but it is usually fine. It is a three minute walk to the bus route to Swanage town centre, beaches and surrounding villages, including Corfe Castle, Langton Matravers and Wareham. The famous Swanage Steam Train can be caught at Swanage Town Centre or at Herston Halt, a ten-minute walk away.
