Michelle’s place was super clean and more than adequately provided with toilet paper, soaps etc. It was also perfectly situated for our purposes - to attend an event in the Walpole Bay Area. We had originally had a booking nearby (Rented Residences Ltd through bookings dot com) which was unilaterally cancelled by the owner <16hrs before check-in. We discovered. whilst passing by, that it was then let out to a bigger group. We were lucky to find Michelle’s place, although it was much larger (and more expensive) than we needed. But that’s not Michelle’s fault. Avoid Rented Residences Ltd. Thank you Michelle.

I know the cliche “ Home away from Home,sometimes appears over used but Coastal Retreat is exactly as described, if not more. Michelle was flexible, warm and a great host. She could not have done enough to make us comfortable, ( magically producing a shower chair).The accommodation was extremely clean and tidy. I fell in love with it on first sight. All modern appliances that make everyday life easy such as the washing machine, cooker , toaster , fridge were in a good working order, clean and easy to use. All information on operating the appliances were in an easy to read manual, every thing was thought about even up to mere basics such as ice cubes,I never needed to ask her for anything. The surroundings of the accommodation was peaceful ,easy to access the high street from , close to shops , restaurants and the beach. For me returning again is a given . I had a fabulous ,restful and an awesome time . I give Coastal Retreat, Cliftonville a 110%.

Even better than we expected! Lovely and clean, very well equipped, and completely private. Parking would be the only thing that could be improved on, but our host was super helpful in letting us know where we could and couldn't park. We'll definitely return.

We had a great few days and with the very large kitchen/diner/living space there was plenty of room for all of us!

Michelle was an incredibly helpful, flexible and generous host. We had a really lovely stay in the flat - everything was super clean and tidy and was a really relaxed place to spend the weekend. Very grateful to Michelle for being so accommodating, welcoming and for providing such a fantastic place to stay, which met and exceeded all our needs. Near to the beach and an easy walk into town - would recommend to anyone spending time in Margate.
