Walking distance to the beach, grocery store and restaurants was 5-10 minutes. Loved that we didn't need to rent a car or get transportation. We walked everywhere. The home was very nice, clean and comfortable. Any questions or needs were answered promptly by host. Would highly recommend.

This was an awesome property! The location was great, and a 5 min walk to the beach or shops. A prior review complained about the pool cleanliness, but the pool is covered with trees and flora & fauna which gives it a great ambiance. It can be expected that leaves and flowers are going to fall into the pool. This isn't a resort, so they aren't cleaning it every day. Only took a few min to scoop out all the leaves and sweep off the area and it was completely fine. The beds were a little hard, which is fine by, but my daughter said they were too hard. The water did stop working the last morning we were there, but we were checking out so not a big deal, and given how responsive they were I'd imagine they would have had the issue fixed immediately. My only real complaint would be the TV. It is a very old TV with no options for Netflix or any apps. Even tried using a USB to connect my phone, but no success and the cable connection was very poor. Otherwise, it was beautiful!

Unfortunately, we had many issues while staying at Casa Simon, which is a shame because the property is beautiful and has potential to be 5 star. We lost power (for 24 hours) and water (for 48 hours). The dishwasher didn’t work as well. The pool was disgusting upon arrival, which we notified the five star team about. They were reluctant in getting the team out to clean it, but eventually did after a day of asking. This rendered the pool unusable for the first 3 days of our stay, which was a major selling point of booking this Airbnb. The floors were disgusting and the house was not 5 star clean. There was trash left in the grounds of the house. If I could do it over again I would not stay here and pick another property on Airbnb due to the headaches we had to deal with.
