Superbly located flat on the top floor of a traditional Edinburgh tenement with a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom!The apartment includes 2 bright and spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage, a bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cosy living room with dining area. Fully set up with compametrity WiFi & Netflix on the TV. The main bedroom is newly developed and includes a king-sized bed and chest of drawers and boasts beautiful views over Edinburgh’s Old Town and, with the correct weather is completely bathed pinks and reds. The second bedroom is at the front of the flat overlooking Easter Road, with a double bed, spacious built in wardrobe with drawers, rails and comes equipped with hangers. The Kitchen is newly renovated with beautiful natural stone tiles and comes fully equipped with gas hob, fan oven, refrigerator, kettle, toaster oven, coffee machine and brand-new washing machine. The living room has a comfortable 3-person leather sofa, matching arm chair and 50” television. The apartment is fully set up with complementary WiFi & accessibility to Netflix on the TV. The hall is L shaped and leads to the newly developed bathroom, which is equipped with a shower, vanity cupboard, sink and toilet.
Robyn’s place is a stunning, sparkling clean, recently renovated and beautifully styled flat. We loved it. We wish Robyn every success in the future, her attention to detail is outstanding. I’d love to know how she gets her towels to smell of eucalyptus!! Amazing attention to detail!
A beautiful apartment with comfortable pleasing furniture and additions. Very clean throughout with stylish bathroom and kitchen. Location perfect. Easy travel with bus stop near apartment but in walking distance of city centre and other attractions. Robyn and Thomas very helpful and accommodating and always available. Definitely an apartment we would return to.
Robyn and Thomas were both very friendly and responsive. Available for check in when we needed, quick to respond to messages. Photos did not do the apartment justice, beautiful property, spacious and so clean. Nice bars across the way but also easy to get to the centre. Would definitely stay here again. Neighbouring attractions: Calton Hill and Arthur’s seat provide perfect panoramic views of the city and are a must-see for their beautiful sunrises and sunsets and are a 5 minute and 10 minute walk away respectively.
The fantastic local bakeries, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in the surrounding area make this apartment the perfect spot for a city break, you are spoilt for choice. I have lived in the area for 5 years now and am more than happy to give recommendations whatever the occasion or cuisine.
The apartment is just a 5 minute walk from the new tram service that runs from Edinburgh airport to the shore!
Just 1 mile from Waverley Train Station, the apartment is close enough to allow easy access to the city centre while being far enough away to escape the hubbub at the day’s end. On foot, all of the city’s major attractions are within 30 minutes’ reach, while there are a number of buses which can take you into town in a fraction of that time, all operating on a regular and reliable schedule within easy reach of your front door.
In the other direction, the apartment is just a stone’s throw from the Water of Leith and the Shore, a charming waterfront area that is packed with vibrant bars and restaurants serving top-quality local produce. Indeed, there are two Michelin star’d restaurants within a short walk of your doorstep! There is a large Lidl 100 yards away and a Tesco 10 minutes away if you wish for some downtime in this lovely & spacious apartment.
For those who wish to explore further afield and hire a car, just a few streets away does not charge for parking, saving on a potentially huge expense in Edinburgh.
Location in a city is always important. The flat sits less than a 5-minute walk from the shops and pubs of Easter Road and a 10-minute walk from the famous Leith Walk. Also in walking distance are the recently finished St James Quarter, the Shore, Calton Hill, and Arthur’s Seat. The flat is a 10-minute car/taxi ride to Portobello Beach, and a 12-minute car/taxi ride to the George Street / Princes Street area meaning you can get anywhere in and around the city quickly.
Edinburgh’s tram service has been extended as of June 2023 and now there is a tram stop within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. This is ideal for guesting arriving into Edinburgh airport or getting across/around town.
There is a regular and reliable public transport service to and from the city centre. The bus stop is right across the street from the apartment, a trip straight to the centre and will only take 5-10 mins. Prices for a single bus fare is £1.80, a child's fare is 80p and £4 for a day saver (unlimited use all over Edinburgh). Alternatively you can stroll into town in 20 minutes, The Shore area in around 15 minutes, Newhaven Harbour and The Royal Yacht Britannia in 20 minutes and The Botanic Gardens in about 25 minutes.
