Absolutely fantastic stay, from before we arrived, the hosts were attentive and clear about arrival making for a seamless check in. We were greeted and given a tour of the entire villa and outside areas. The villa is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The public spaces are fantastic and perfect for a big group. The beds were extremely comfortable. The villa is in a gated area which made it feel extremely safe and secure. We paid for the heated pool and it was worth every penny, it wasn't too hot but gorgeous to enjoy on the warmer and colder days of our trip. The pool is larger than it appears in the photographs. The villa is tucked away making it very private and relaxing. I couldn't fault anything about our stay it was absolutely perfect!

Villa Miracampo is great, really spacious, well decorated, beds are comfortable, the swimming pools are amazing! I was worried about the reviews saying there weren't enough utensils in the kitchen, but we were a large group and had no issue with dinner/glassware, they also included beach towels for us all which was a nice touch! That said, I'll flag some very minor issues, none of which took away from our amazing experience and the feeling we'd definitely stay there again: - The downstairs dishwasher needs to be replaced/serviced as it wasn't washing the utensils on the bottom rack properly - the light switches around the house and the kitchen cabinet handles need to be replaced/serviced, some are coming off and the kitchen light switch wasn't working properly - the ensuite bathroom downstairs needs a shower curtain - some more cookware, specifically pots, specially larger ones, would be useful But like I said we had a truly amazing time there and I thoroughly recommend it!

Booked Portucasa for 1 week for our daughters wedding. Sadly we were very disappointed. The villa is very dated, and there are lots of stains on the sofas and carpets. The silicone in bathrooms was mouldy and the drains need urgent attention. The water doesn't drain away so had to have short showers, to avoid flooding. One of the bathrooms looked like it hadn't been cleaned- it was very dirty and mouldy. The toilet door lock jammed shut, and had 2 guests get locked in there. Aircon remotes had no batteries. Kitchen cupboards stank, and most utensils were dirty. For amount of people it's meant to cater, it lacks sufficient utensils. Pool area tables were filthy, and area very poorly presented. Outside areas hadn't been swept. Kitchen sinks blocked up and needed a plumber out. Property manager aware of all above issues, and their attitude was "that's unfortunate " "that's never happened before" (when it's comments by guests in the guestbook). Stress we didn't need before a wedding!

Miracampo is a beautiful villa in a great location . We didn’t have a car but the taxi company recommended were fantastic, arrived quickly with super friendly drivers, reasonably priced too. It was easy to walk to the local well stocked supermarket which had a little bar/cafe attached and a lovely americano coffee was 90cents! Many lovely restaurants within walking distance and the excellent Scoobies bar which was wonderful for a family day out. We had a couple of minor issues which Cami dealt with promptly . One major gripe would be the kitchen which is best described as needing attention. There were several cupboards and drawers which had either no handles or they were hanging off. The dishwasher didn’t clean things properly especially coffee mugs and many of those were badly stained. The other issue was that the carpets throughout and the sofa in the main lounge area were stained but obviously difficult to clean when it is booked constantly. Overall though a lovely place.

Our family group of 15 stayed at Villa Miracampo. The villa is really spacious with lots of room for a group of this size. There are 8 good size bedrooms, all with a/c and 5 bathrooms so you never feel like you are cramped together. However water pressure dropped significantly when everyone showers at the same time. The pool is a really good size for a villa and lots of space and sun loungers around it. The villa is in a gated area shared with 4 other villas so it feels very safe and is set back off the road which was a relief as it is a busy road. There is a well stocked Spar supermarket down the road and a few good restaurants within a couple of minutes walk also. The closest beach is a 15 minute walk - it is a small cove beach with a restaurant. We used Ubers a lot to get around and they are very reliable and cheap. The larger Praia do Galé beach, Aldi supermarket and Albufeira Old Town are all just a couple of minutes taxi ride away.
