Terrific efforts by Pooja's In-Laws who despite being Senior Citizens have robust energy & very friendly disposition with genuine desire to make guests enjoy the property. They have also spent considerably on the interiors and save & except for the fact that there is no laundry service/washing machine,their small house is picture perfect & intelligently designed with balconies on all sides & a terrace with view of the majestic mountain range.Electrically charged mattresses were a welcome element in cold weather.Caretaker is mostly unresponsive & should be better aligned with the family's homestay business.

Starting with a day prior I received a call from Property owner Mrs Kaushalya checking on us if we had arrived at Kurseong or Darjeeling she also happens to share menu for meals so it's prepared in advance, she was there to give us a warm welcome us with a big smile which made us feel homely. This Property was so far the best when we were deciding which home stay we should go for in Kurseong and it was just as shown in their profile. The Location is like wow with a beautiful sunset and night view of the landscape of Kurseong town also to mention Dowhill is in walkable distance. Mr and Mrs Sharma took some time out to see us off the day prior as we were leaving early in the morning they also arranged a vehicle to our destination. We will recommend this property if you happen to plan your stay at Kurseong.

Pooja s home is a warm and comfortable place to be in. Extremely neat and clean and very tasteful and beautiful interiors. A very well located place on the main road accessible easily by car or on foot. Car parking was easy .The room was bright and airy with clean beautiful linen and towels. The washroom was great too. The best thing about their home is the extreme warmth and affection showered on us. Kaushilya and uncle.. Pooja s in laws are a very nice couple who made us feel at home from the time we arrived. This is what makes the place so awesome. Kaushilya made us a lovely breakfast and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils & necessities...honey..pickles...RO water ..Darjeeling tea..sugar ..all. We had a very short stay and we really must get back there to enjoy the place once again..for a longer stay. Thanks Pooja.. Kaushilya & uncle for making us feel at home. Thanks Airbnb for offering us such good hosts. ❣️
