We had a great stay at this location. It’s beautiful and private. The view is incredible and the pool refreshing. No barking dogs or roosters just the sounds of wild birds in the mornings. If you plan to come and go from this place to see the country, plan on bringing a full size SUV meant for being off road. It will make the drive up the rough mountain road much more tolerable. Also, with these road conditions the only travelers getting to a beach in 15 minutes will be on motorcycles. Plan on 20 minutes just to get to the main road in town and a few more to get to the closest beach. When we visited in May it got dark at 6:00 pm and this road is not lit. Plan accordingly. The road is the biggest surprise and downside to the location. We got used to it however if I ever go to a CR home in the mountains again i will have an off road vehicle. Our small SUV/crossover wasn’t quite enough This being said getting this deep into the mountains is a great naturalist adventure. Just come prepared

Melanie's place was beautiful and exactly as pictured! We loved having the pool, the beautiful view, and the peacefulness of this place. As others have noted, I would highly recommend not trying to find your way here in the dark on your first night as the roads can be confusing. Melanie provided great photos to help us know what to look for. I will say, it is a bumpy/curvy 15 minute drive up to this place. The views were worth it but if you are nervous on small roads/get easily car sick, be prepared and take it slow! We loved this place and the nature that surrounded it and I would recommend it.

Outstanding House in the most beautiful surroundings with lots of wild animal. The pool is superb and the house has all what you need. The host is extremely helpful and responsive. We truly enjoyed it and might come back.
