Set in 22 acres with fields, wildflower meadows, woodland and a river. Perfect for walking, riding, cycling, painting and photography. A special place to unwind, relax and explore this beautiful part of Devon. This cosy Cottage is attached to the owners house with a separate entrance; private, completely self contained and for the guests sole use. It is accessed through a shared yard with parking around the property and storage for bikes or equipment*. The Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a fan oven, dishwasher, fridge and the full range of essentials. The living area features an original inglenook fireplace, a large comfy sofa, coffee table and a small dining table. There is a TV, books, and games. The scullery is well equipped with a washing machine, belfast sink, freezer a second fridge, space for bags and coats and a second loo. Upstairs there is good size bedroom with a superking bed and plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. There is also a nice modern bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Wifi is available, but as this is a remote location, it can be a bit hit and miss. *Note if you do bring bikes or equipment please bring your own padlocks or chains to secure your property. Even though we are in a remote location, the storage is not 100% secure. The market town of Tavistock is 7 miles away and the area has great pub restaurants and luxury hotels for fine dining nearby. Dartmoor National Park, Lydford Gorge and St Michaels Brentor are close by and the beaches of Cornwall are an hours drive away.
