Accessible only by a walking trail that leads to the reserve forest and highest viewing point in the valley. Villa's oversized windows all around the house, and the terrace, offer a 360 view of the Himalayan peaks' grandeur; every space offers magnificence of nature's wonders in sight. It's a perfect opportunity to disconnect from the rest of the world and connect deeply with your mind, body and soul! The villa is a part of a 1.5 acre estate, situated on the top of Chandak Hill . There are large windows all around the house with breathtaking views of the valley, gardens, forests and the entire Himalayan snow peaks of Kumaon, Garhwal and Nepal. All rooms are spacious and adequately furnished with bohemian and modern decor. Through the villa you will experience great ventilation, and ample sunlight from first ray to the last ray of sun throughout the villa. The spaces comprise of Ground Floor: - Living Room with sofa seating and a french window day bed - Spacious and well equipped open kitchen with attached dining. - Garden Suite room and bath - Mountain gazing patio, perfect for morning and evening tea - Backyard with lawn and fire pit, great for breakfast/lunch and bonfire evenings. First Floor: - A large master studio with bed, lounger sofa bed, pantry with refrigerator and some casual floor seating. - Attached reading sunroom with bath. - The skydeck terrace, great for breakfast, sunbathing and late night stargazing

It was an amazing experience staying at the property. The location of the property is quite impressive, you can see the Panchachuli peaks and Pithoragarh city from the top of the Chandak hill right from your window. The private 1.5 acre area was another highlight of the property as you will have the access many interesting views from your stay. The caretaker Ravi Da made us feel at home and cooked most amazing local food for us. It would highly recommend this stay at Pithoragarh.
Probably the best place to stay in pithoragarh. Nitin was great in helping me organise my entire week with things to do and places to visit. The place itself is located just a short walk up from the main Chandak market. As you walk up you can start seeing the beautiful views and the very many friendly neighbours who are forever smiling. The villa and rooms are well appointed, lots of extra blankets available if it gets too cold. If you're a nature lover this is a perfect place to spend your time. There's a huge terrace overlooking the mountains and the city below. Special mention goes to the caretaker Ravi and his wife who made my stay extra comfortable, the food was homely and delicious. They grow a lot of vegetables on their estate which I got to try. Ask ravi to give you a tour of the estate, he will also tell you about the rich history the place has. Ravi also took me for hikes nearby which was great. Highly recommend this place for families and esp female solo travellers.
Mountains has always been a home to me but this time it was more homely, lovely and peaceful. The serene geography accompanied with such wonderful people is like a sitting in the nature’s lap with natural and organic companions. Thank you for hosting us Nitin and team especially Ravi ji . Absolutely breathtaking! Our stay at this Airbnb was like stepping into a postcard. The scenic views and the embrace of nature were simply mesmerizing. Waking up to the sight of the sunrise over the mountains and falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the nearby stream was a dream come true. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the attention to detail in the cabin was remarkable. We spent our days exploring the nearby hiking trails and our evenings stargazing by the fire pit. This place is a true gem, and we can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience. Thanks!
Best residential location , best 360 degree view . Renowned person of architecture field Baker was associated with this place. one hesitation stands of ascending 400 steps, that may troublesome for weak hearts, otherwise Ravi , the caretaker is makes your stay मस्त! Other hesitation the cost of stay ! Heritage site of Baker’s, Rauxi dog, hens , organic kitchen garden with green house . Pashupatinath & Mast Manu, beautiful temples&location are on walkable distance. 2 nights r needful for Pithoragarh.

We are located on top of the Chandak hill in Sikrani village (Pithoragarh). It is a very secluded location at the edge of Chandak Reserve Forest with thick forest pine and oak trees surrounding it.
A place with splendours natural beauty boasted through jungles, mountains, rivers, where clouds create riots of colours on the mountains.
If you really want a non-commercialized nature stay, this is the place. Walking, trekking, birding, bathing in pristine views with sun, running behind the butterflies, star gazing, visiting tiny hamlets, enjoying local cuisine, bee keeping and staying in traditional Kumaoni culture are what you can enjoy here. It offers homely accommodations for a nice stay and enjoys the nature and solitude with a never-ending view of the valley.
Access to cottage is on foot from the Chandak market, it is a 10 mins hike up the hill and can take longer for people who are not used to walking. Its a rewarding view and worth the climb.
We can make arrangements for a porter to carry bags upon your arrival. Vehicle can be secured parked at Madhur Residency for a daily parking fee.
For basic supplies you will have to walk the market.
Guests are free to access all parts of the 1.5 acres estate and farms where we grow vegetables and exotic flowers.
We can also organise treks for guests with prior information. Guests can enjoy theme , nature and farm based activities like Bird watching, Star Gazing, Cycling, Bee Keeping tips, Cow Miking, Farming tips , Horse riding, Kumaoni Village Walk, Nature and jungle walk.
