Home away from home, the Old School can sleep the whole family (up to 8 people). It has 2 separate bedrooms with double beds, 2 single beds and a bunk bed for the kids. It has a large bathroom, with corner bath and large shower. A fully equipped kitchen. Braai facilities outside. Old School also has a very large sun-room for the whole family to enjoy their morning breakfast or lunch. The lounge has two large couches for lazing around whilst live streaming your favorite movie or programs De Oude Schuur is close to the beautiful town of Stellenbosch, a town surrounded by the Cape Winelands, filled with Historical Cape Dutch Houses and other cultural monuments. ONE Culture Restaurant is within walking distance of the cottages. Some of our country’s best wine farms are within a 2km radius. The Stellenbosch Square is 1km away with coffee shops, a butchery, clothing shops, and lots more. For an early breakfast, there is the Bluebird Cafe right across the road. You’ll love our farm because of the outdoor space and the comfort of our beds. Please note that we have 4 dogs. We would like our guests to experience the farm atmosphere AND have their privacy. Each cottage has a little private patio or garden. Each cottage has its own Braai (BBQ) facilities. If you want to go for a walk/jog, you can do so behind our farm, you can stretch your legs and breathe in the fresh air.

Thank you! We needed to stay here last minute and the host was able to accommodate us. Everything seemed to be in order, we only stayed one night so didn't get an opportunity to check out the amenities much but would recommend this place to order travellers!

Pet friendly is an advantage but i would consider this more student digs type accommodation than anything ekse. Building in need of maintenance and a good scrub from the building to the amenities and furniture. Water taps reverse temperature settings, kitchen only seemed to have boiling hot water. Support staff were friendly and obliging, but many people just walked into our booking thinking it was reception (there isn't one). The main issue was constant angle grinding noise from just behind building all day from 8am till dark. Host did not reply on Airbnb site request for extended stay, after saying she would via message on AirBnB, but then screamed at my daughter over the phone because we left as per our booking. We honestly assumed that since we had not heard anything, the property was unavailable. I'm still not sure how Elmarie had communicated any extension in stay as we still cannot find anything on airbnb or elsewhere.
