Book Hocking was right on top of things from the moment we made the reservation! The App sent to my phone on our arrival day made everything as easy and clear as possible, and queries were quickly answered. The solitude was wonderful; we neither saw nor heard a whisper from the other three cabins on the property…..and the porches facing the woods were perfect for early morning/late afternoon birding! The highlight was a Barred Owl serenade while enjoying a campfire…. We would definitely patronize Book Hocking again!

pro's: great location and view, terrific hot tub, pool table and darts, clean, secluded, multiple emails from hosts, easy access to property, hosts even dropped off firewood for outside fire pit. con's: poor internet connection, even after rebooting router 2x. streaming shows kept dropping off air. coffee making capacity is low - recommend bringing your own coffee and equipment if you like more than a cup in the morning and both bedrooms are full. A bit over-priced for the amenities, although the setting is quite nice. But after all, it is Hocking Hills, so you expect to pay more.

We had a wonderful time visiting Hocking Hills with good friends. The cabin was nice and fairly secluded. The fire pit and deck were nice and relaxing. The hot tub was a nice bonus after a day of hiking.

Exactly as described with great communication. Pool table and darts were a nice addition for a family trip (as so much of getting away at Hocking is unplugging and being together). Would recommend and definitely return. We drove in at night and found the directions only slightly confusing - one note: take a RIGHT at the “T” in the driveway and then look for the house’s name on the sign before committing to a left turn.👍
