The house is beautiful, but needs maintenance. When we arrived, the door to the Casita was ajar and hundreds of bugs were inside, flies, creepy bugs, spiders, etc. As it was 2 am when we got there, I contacted the Host the next day and he sent out the cleaner and maintenance guy right away. The cleaner said she had never seen so many bugs in there. She had to change the sheets due to so many bug guts on them. It didn't get much better the next day either. The flying bugs were hitting the windows all night, making clicking sounds. She said she and the maintenance guy had told the owner about the door not closing all the way. The second bedroom, the Casita, is a separate building. You have to go through the master bedroom to get to the full bathroom. If you didn't want to do that, you could walk around the house to the front door to use the half bath. There was not a sidewalk or path to walk around the house, and the grass was knee high in places. I will never stay there again.

We have recently had the pleasure of staying for second time at the Modern Ranch. It it was a great experience once again! Here are some highlights of my stay: - Spacious Open Concept: The living and dining areas are thoughtfully designed with plenty of seating. The open layout provides comfort and convenience. - High-Speed Wi-Fi: It allowed us to stay connected while enjoying the tranquility of the ranch. - Excellent TV and AV equipment: we can use variety of movies offered or connect our devices to the HiFi system. - Comforts of Home: The attention to detail is evident throughout. Cozy furnishings, soft linens, and well-equipped amenities made my stay feel like a true home away from home. - Ideal Location: Just a 5-minute drive from downtown Dripping Springs, The Modern Ranch strikes the perfect balance between convenience and peaceful retreat.
