Over all great place! Great place to book last minute that fit our whole group. Only complaint is pictures are a dated. It is an older house, so a couple of the kids were a little scared as it resembles a “creepy ghost house”. But other than that, it really was not a bad place. I loved the barn setup.

Having the main house and the unique and neat barn with its 3 bedrooms provides a great place for big parties that need 7 bedrooms and spaces to enjoy each other’s company. And having so many wineries, distilleries and restaurants nearby is great. And Todd was a very helpful and responsive host with my questions before our family arrived. If you have a family member getting married at the Stonehouse Villa in Driftwood, know that this house is only 6 - 8 minutes away.

This property is amazing! We had all my daughter's bridesmaids in the house, my husband and me in the suite off the venue area, and her brothers in the upstairs suite off the venue area. There is a full bathroom for every single bedroom and we were all incredibly comfortable. Todd is so flexible and responsive - one of the best hosts I have ever stayed with. He has everything you need for an event in the. venue (we did a goodbye breakfast the morning after the wedding), and he's happy for you to use it all and make yourself at home. *My one tip is to check the propane tanks ahead of time if you plan to use the big propane heaters. I didn't check till 30 minutes before our event and the tanks were empty. Check early so you have time to go get propane if you need it. (the Home Depot is less than a mile up the road).

The location of the house was perfect! We loved the charm of the old farmhouse and the barn was precious. We were disappointed in the amount of "stuff" or clutter throughout the property. The home was dirty,. We found crumbs, soda cans and candy wrappers around the house. Many of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty. The yard had stashes of "junk" in various locations. There is so much clutter, that even the bedroom closets were bursting full and we were unable to use them. We were most concerned about the safety issue of dead trees on the property. The sewer system was spewing out of the ground on the side of the house. The stench was horrendous and we had to ensure that our children stayed away from the area due to the toilet paper and feces in the bubbling sewer water. We text Todd and told him about the sewer but he did not respond. Again, this home has so much potential and could be a perfect rental with all of the issues above tended to.
