I have been using Airbnb for the past 5 years now in different countries, we believe that this was the best place we ever been to. Very well organized with interesting layout. You literally have everything in the house. Although Sri lanka is full of insects and the house has an open rooftop and the doors where open the whole time, we were not bothered by it at all unlike when you walk outside. Damith is taking care of the property and he stays in the same house, he was welcoming, polite and helpful. The house is super clean and the location is perfect in the fort you got everything around from restaurant to shopping and art gallery. Thank you colleen for house you made it feel like home

What a wonderful 2 nights we have had at this special villa! The location could not be better - sunset views and so easy to walk to all the nearby shops and restaurants. The housekeeping staff do an amazing job, and really looked after us so well. I would highly recommend this villa and we hope to return one day.
We loved our stay at Colleen’s. It is very close to the fort and you can start exploring it from there and go all around. The house is staffed and they are super friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend you stay here because nothing can really go wrong. :)
Paradise! We had the most amazing stay. The place is beautiful - stunning views, super clean, nice cool air conditioned bedrooms and in the most perfect and convenient location in Galle. Breakfast and dinner were incredible too, we chose traditional Sri Lankan meals and were so impressed. Would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again. Hi Brian & I live in Australia and for the past 32 years we have run our own painting & building maintenance business from Byron Bay to Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast. We love great food & wine, meeting people & travelling. We love living & travelling within Australia but we also love to travel the world. We have so many favourite destinations but Sri Lanka is one place that is on top of the list. The draw card being it's beautiful people, stunning locations, beaches, delicious food, the wildlife, tea-plantations, historical venues and of course the mark it has made in the Cricket world. We would love to host you at our home away from home and hope that you will fall in love with the Galle Fort area as much as we did during our first visit in 1982. The name “Kingsley’s Pearl” or “KP” was originally used at our first villa at Thalpe in 2010, and named after Brian’s parent’s, Kingsley & Pearl , who were both born and raised in Sri Lanka. Kingsley’s Pearl at Thalpe brought us enjoyment and a love of Sri Lanka, especially the people, the land and the delicious cuisine. So here we are again in 2021 in the Unesco World Heritage Site, Galle Fort, rekindling the spirit, catching up with old friends, and taking in all that Sri Lanka has to offer.
