We really enjoyed our stay here. I loved being able to see the ocean from the balcony and walk down to the beach every morning to watch the sunrise. You really can’t ask for a better location. Kitchen had plenty of supplies, beds were comfortable, and there was lots of space so we didn’t feel cramped. I did not notice any issues with bugs as others have mentioned, but we definitely encountered a coyote in broad daylight on the dunes! All in all, a fantastic place in the best location. We are in Port A a lot and our stay here will be hard to beat.

Amazing place to stay. Crazy to think you can stay at a beautiful house and walk in just a couple minutes to the beach. It’s plenty updated. It’s obviously not a new place which makes it better. My SMALL complaint. The refrigerator door needs to be hinged opposite! Jokes aside my young 6 yr old cried when we had to leave. He’s been to a lot of places and always wants to go home but this place he didn’t want to leave.

This nostalgic cottage does not disappoint. Around 7pm after the sun sets, park your body out on the balcony with your cocktail or beverage of choice to enjoy a magical time. You just can't put words to the view of the dunes and the ocean backdrop and the sound of seagulls and crackles searching for their dinner meal. We enjoyed some music and watching the waves roll in. The sound of the ocean is "worth the price of admission" and one we will be back for again. We only ate out one time as we are avid cooks, the kitchen left us with no complaints. Well stocked and easy to get around in. Love the big butcher block island for prep and puzzles! Books, games and little things to do for all ages. Do bring your own beach chairs if traveling close by. Oh, and a rare amazing ice maker was nice . It flat works! Thanks Mark and Ashely. It was just what we needed.
