The Crowley House is one of the most recognized traditional homes in Newfoundland. A designated Heritage Structure located within 30 meters of the ocean and is on a very private 3 acre property with an expansive view of the ocean, with unobstructed views of whales, icebergs, seabirds, fishing boats and the beautiful sounds of the ocean. - Whale watching and iceberg viewing right on the property - Adjacent to one of the most traditional fishing and active outports in Nfld - Peace and quiet A traditional 2 story biscuit house design. First floor has a full bathroom, laundry room, living room, kitchen, and dining room. There is an air tight wood stove in the kitchen/dining room. The back entrance includes wood storage, a pantry, and a 2nd refrigerator. Second floor includes 3 bedrooms and another full bathroom. The outside space includes a back deck with a high end BBQ. There is also a historic 2 story barn with AMAZING ocean views. The barn is full of antiques that have been on the property for the last 115 years. There is also a 2 level root cellar that was built about 115 years ago. A 2 bay garage where we keep supplies.

What an amazing place! This heritage home is on a large, beautiful waterfront property in a quiet seaside community. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed wandering the property, watching the huge waves crash along the coastline. There's a restaurant a short walk down the road and a pub a short drive away. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. We were just sorry we couldn't stay longer.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Roberts place,, everything and more that what we expected. Beautiful home with so much History and Character, plus the Barn loft which is so Rustic as well to enjoy. Relaxing atmosphere surrounded by so much beautiful scenery and Robert was very responsive to any questions we had. Will most def try and make it back next summer and highly recommend to family and friends .

Great place! Highly recommend! Traditional house with all modern amenities. And beautiful one of a kind scenic views right from the property. Bring your binoculars!

Ocean-front on Wharf Road - only a 100 meters from the Wharf and a very active harbour. Lots to see and watch. Whales, sea birds, ice bergs, seals, berries, all right there.

Hiking trails nearby, walk to the beach, or go berry picking across the street. Whale watching from the back yard. Active harbour with fishermen coming and going with all types of fish and seafood. Restaurant within walk distance. A shop to pick up some essential groceries within 5 minute drive including ahcolhol/beer.
