Second time I stayed at Umis place and it was as amazing as the first time. There’s a reason I keep coming back here and to whomever is considering staying here - do it. It’s so peaceful and quiet. I’d stay for weeks on end if that was possible! Will be back, again and again!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the most incredible experience during my stay at this charming cabin in the mountains. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty of the surrounding nature and the cozy atmosphere of the cabin. The cabin itself was immaculately clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities one could ask for. The rustic yet modern decor created a warm and inviting ambiance that made me feel right at home. The breathtaking views of the mountains from the cabin's windows and the spacious deck were simply unforgettable. The peace and tranquility that enveloped the cabin were truly rejuvenating. I spent my days hiking through the picturesque trails, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and soaking in the beauty of the natural surroundings. In the evenings, I cozied up by the fireplace with a good book and a cup of hot cocoa, feeling completely at peace. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my stay was nothing short of perfect. 😍
We had a great time at Umi's Catskill house! My boys (ages 7 and 10) loved the loft beds and having their own private space and the master bedroom was plenty big enough for my wife and I. The house was perfectly clean and well kept. The house is private and secluded, a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Location was great as we went to ski and were 20 min from Windham and 40 min from Bellyare. Overall, we would recommend this house to anyone looking for private, low-key getaway.
We were so pleasantly surprised when walking into this home. We could tell from the photos and descriptions that it looked great but it was beyond our expectations. We felt cozy and invited from the moment we walk through the door. Umi and William had thought through every detail when preparing their home. Umi could not have been more responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We really appreciated her help and all of their attention to detail. We look forward to staying in their home again!
Umi’s property is unforgettable! Had an amazing stay. She was an incredible host and the property was stunning. Definitely recommend and looking forward to staying again!

I LOVE anything and everything to do with adventure, traveling, food and the ocean… from local day trips to hopping from one country to the next. I have traveled across country at the age of 6 years old and have since visited over 10 countries. Traveling provides us a way to open our minds and experience a wide array of people, cultures, food and so much more! My husband grew up in New Jersey “down the shore” and I have always had a connection and love for the ocean (my name meaning “Sea” in Japanese). Owning a property Oceanside was something I could have only dreamed of until the summer of 2018 when our dreams turned into our reality. We wanted our 2 young girls to experience our love for the beach and grow up with many fond memories of us down the shore. Whether it’s your first time searching on Airbnb or a seasoned traveler, I am here to make your experience fun and exciting! No matter where you are from I want to make you feel right at home….or maybe not (for all you are on vacation!).
