A stones throw away from the stunning Malvern Hills, this 2 bed detached cottage is a home from home and has everything you'll need for a peaceful break in the country. An upside down cottage with sunrise views over the Severn Valley. The Cottage: Baytree Cottage is a lovely cottage nestled into the side of the Malvern Hills. Enjoy games in front of the log burner or just curl up on the sofa to a Netflix film. Tastefully decorated and fully equipped for cooking with a kitchen dining area. Wake up to the dawn chorus and a wonderful sunrise peeking through. Get your walking boots on and get exploring. The house is on a quiet road with paths leading on up the Malvern Hills. Parking is on the road outside. We welcome well behaved dogs, but ask that they are clean if they venture anywhere other than the kitchen as the house is carpeted. Sorry, no puppies. Upstairs: Up the stairs to the main bedroom, it has a king size bed, bedside tables and built in wardrobes. There are extra pillows & blankets in here if needed. Along the hall to the main bathroom which has a roll top bath and a separate shower. Towels, toilet rolls, toiletries, and a hairdryer are supplied. Both these rooms have far reaching wonderful views as far as the Cotswolds on a clear day. Downstairs: There’s a second bedroom downstairs where French doors open out to the garden and an ensuite leads off. The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay; a gas range, an electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and all the glassware, crockery, pots, pans and tableware you will need, along with a dining table to seat four. There's also a washing machine, clothes horse, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and a downstairs loo. The garden: Our latest project - the sun room - relax, listen to some music and connect with nature, take breakfast or just chill with a book in this light, airy and leafy haven. The enclosed garden sees the sunrise, it has a sunshade, with table and chairs. There’s a BBQ in the garden for an alfresco evening beer and burger. We supply the charcoal but sadly not the beer! If you do make use of the BBQ please clean it after use. There is also a washing line, many birds to enjoy, night time dark skies, and owls and muntjac to keep an ear out for. Entry is through the kitchen on the lower ground level through the garden. The Area: Great Malvern town centre 10 minute drive away with bars, restaurants, supermarkets, cinema and the famous Malvern theatre. Historic Ledbury is a 10 minute car journey. Parking: There is free parking on the road just up from the house which is free. It's a shared space so please be mindful and pull in tight as it's a single lane road. There are steps down to the cottage entrance.
