We loved our stay! Great central location. We were 4 women on a girls’ trip, and we felt that it was roomy enough for us. The shower had great water pressure and lots of hot water – two very important things for me for trying to adjust to the time change. One evening, we ate just down the street at the Rabbit (a farm-to-table restaurant) and chose the set menu which was just the right amount of food. There was plenty of shopping in the area – clothes, groceries, gourmet, restaurants, coffee/pastries, etc. Two underground stops are both within easy walking distance – South Kensington and Sloane Square - with good connections to both major airports.
What a fantastic stay! Nick's place had everything and more. It was in a perfect location with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and a tube station within walking distance. The place was so beautiful with lots of space to feel comfortable. Highly recommend Nick's place!
Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The house itself is charming and had everything we needed for a stay. We particularly appreciated the washer and dryer which were separate units and could handle frequent laundry needs. (In contrast to some of the combo washer-dryer machines in Europe which have low capacity and take forever to dry.) The neighborhood is really interesting with a range of fun shops and restaurants and bars within a few blocks' walking distance. Nick was very responsive to any questions we had and was able to address them to our satisfaction within the day.
Home away from home. The house is very comfortable, it’s a bit dated but the decor works and is in an unbeatable location in Chelsea. We brought our two toddlers and the setup was ideal for us. Nick had the baby bed ready for us. Nick is an excellent host. Communicates quickly and very friendly! We will definitely return- Thank you again!
We greatly enjoyed our time at Nick’s place. We were delighted by the walkability of the neighborhood, the availability of restaurants, and the house was wonderful for our group of four. Highly recommend!
