Sleeps 6 – 3 large double bedrooms Part of the former castle stable block, Groom’s Cottage is one of four set around a courtyard. Take two steps up to enter the spacious open plan living area which features a warming open log fire. Head up the wooden stairs to discover two king-size double bedrooms, whilst up a further five steps is a third king-size room. All bedrooms boast an en-suite shower room and many rooms have views over the castle grounds. Upstairs are three king-size double bedrooms, all with en-suite shower, basin and WC. There is also a separate ground floor basin and WC. The open plan living area has the kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an open fire. A fabulous family holiday home in peaceful surroundings.

Beautiful cottage near Cloncaird castle. The cottage was really clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend it to anyone searching for accommodation in this area. Would definitely book it again should I ever been in the region again.

Fantastic place to stay…! We had booked up for a wedding and each room has a great shower in it - useful when everyone is getting ready at the same time! We would definitely return!

Cloncaird Castle is one of Scotland’s true hidden gems. Dating back to the 15th century, it stands in 140 acres of stunning surroundings beside the river Girvan at Kirkmichael, Ayrshire.

We are only a short drive from Prestwick International Airport and one hour ten minutes from Glasgow Airport. Kirkmichael is the local village and the historic town of Ayr is nearby.
Cloncaird Castle is located on the banks of the beautiful River Girvan. This setting gives the park a very exclusive feel and the estate also provides a superb base for exploring this stunning region of south-west Scotland.
Walking and hiking tracks are plentiful in the area which is a paradise for keen equestrians. Our holiday cottages are also within easy reach of many Top Ayrshire Golf courses such as Turnberry, Prestwick and Troon.
