Had an enjoyable stay here. Check in was easy and quick, communication was via WhatsApp which worked well. Nice place to unwind for a bit. There is a nice and spacious pool with view on the surrounding areas. The house gets a nice breeze in the evening to cool down a bit and there is even a barbecue available. The beds were a bit worn out and you could feel the springs but all in all we had good nights of sleep with the provided fans. Unfortunately the water failed in the middle of the week and we could neither flush the toilets or take a shower. After informing the host the issue was however quickly resolved. Furthermore we had a bit of an issue with Wi-Fi. It barely covered half the complex and the speed wasn’t great either. I do realise that the building is in a rural area, however remote working and booking of activities etc. should be possible throughout the house in my opinion. Other than that we really do not have anything to criticise and enjoyed our stay in the Mallorcan countryside.

Ist ein schönes Herrenhaus, nur leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen... Der Pool ist ein Traum (da es keine Abdeckung hat wird er mit der Zeit etwas verdreckt). Im Hochsommer wird es bestimmt warm, da es keine Klimaanlage gibt. Das WALN funktioniert nur auf der Terrasse. Liegt ev. auch daran, dass das Haus so abgelegen ist (das spanische Netz dort ist auch schlecht). Die Vermieterin ist sehr bemüht die Wünsche zu erfüllen, aber leider kein Profi und dies merkt man... Es ist nicht ultrasauber, aber wir hatten unseren Urlaub trotzdem sehr genossen. Zu beachten ist ebenfalls, dass es sich um zwei Gebäude handelt und wenn beide Häuser vermietet werden, kann der Pool nicht exklusiv genutzt werden.

My kids (8 & 6) loved the place! But… We had a number of issues with this property, however, the property manager Dolores was always prompt with her responses and helped to try to resolve them. Unfortunately we only ever received automated messages from Belvilla. 1) the photos do not represent our rental. The canopy on the gazebo is now plastic fruit netting, with gaps and rusty hooks. 2) the pool, large outdoor table, bbq, table tennis and laundry facilities are ALL SHARED with a much larger property. The large table and bbq pictured are part of the large/main property. It is not at all clear how this would be ‘shared’ with other guests in the 2bed rental. 3) the dishwasher and washing machine were both out of order, and had to be replaced. 4) the pool itself, as described in another review, was murky on arrival. We were unable to use the pool on one day. After this was reported and remediated the pool improved significantly over the next few days. 5) we had a number of other issues, some fixed, some not, including poor and intermittent Wifi, non working satellite tv (provided with Chromecast as fix, but not great with poor Wifi), no tea towels or oven gloves, no cutting knives/oven trays - replacements given, non-working second shower/toilet - shower fixed. Grit from taps - well refilled. Positives 1) Dolores was helpful, and tried to fix things as I reported them. 2) just outside Manacor, with easy access to shops, bars, market, etc. about 8 mins drive from Nadal Academy. Has a track road from the main road which is rocky, similar to other Mallorca properties I’ve visited, but not suitable for cycling up to the door. 3) Beautiful quiet property out in the countryside. Lovely views across the valley from the pool. 4) the large table and bbq are lovely, and would be great for hosting dinners. Most of the negatives are fixable, or could have been thought through better eg by having trial guests. I hope it continues to improve as it is a lovely spot.

Awful place, stay away! This is the list of things that we experienced while there, I wrote them to send it to them and now I am copping here. 1- The fridge is unstable, our baby is pushing it back and forth as she crawls near it. 2- The kitchen counter was absolutely oily when we checked in. 3- there is no rubbish bin in the kitchen at all. And the ones in the toilets are broken. 4- There is no kitchen towels to dry utensils 5- all bed covers smell like they have been locked here for months. 6- there is only 2 white towels and 1 beach towel provided, they all smell horribly, just like the bed covers 7- the bed cover doesn’t have a sheet cover. 8- the wifi is so weak, whatsapp messages don’t even get through. My husband has been unable to work. 9- the fridge doesn’t really keep things very cold. 10- the stove doesn’t really get fully hot. The oven was used once at 200C and it didn’t cook our food, we had to set it to 270C instead, and be looking every minute because we weren’t really sure what temperature was set, at 200C it felt like at 100C. Completely unsure how to cook anythings like that. 11- the swimming pool was absolutely dirty, we were told by you that the first floor incl swimming pool was for us and private. The person giving us the key informed us yesterday, that in case anybody books the main house, we would have to share the pool with them. Turns out, the private pool is the main reason we booked this finca. The key person told us they have been cleaning the pool for 3 days, looks totally dirty, and says it could be used in about 3 more days, because the chemicals are working and could even be dangerous for us. 12- the white pool awning is gone, instead, there is another thing and broken net layer that doesn’t cover any sun. 13- the grass isn’t mown. Instead the grass around the pool is full of wild grass with stingy stuff that feels very uncomfortable and even painful, my baby can’t crawl in it at all. She could cut her skin with it. 14- All drainage from showers and sinks are blocked with mouldy hair and pieces if crystals that come back as one uses them. I was cleaning my daughter and all nasty stuff comes back, same when I brush my teeth, not to mention that it smells like fungus. We have to brush our teeth in the kitchen. 15- the lighting is very poor in the kitchen, I can’t see what I am cooking. There is a switch over the stove and it is broken. 16- the laundry room is closed, and the high chair for my baby was there, I have no access to the laundry and my baby wears cloth diapers, we have no way to wash her stuff. 17- and the last thing we experienced today, is that my daughter is sleeping with a lamp on. Suddenly we at the living room area smell a burning smell, we go to the bedroom and the lamp inlayer is twisting as it melts from the heat of the light bulb, it is probably a very hight voltage for this tiny lamp and we took pictures of it. We had to wake up our daughter and ventilate the bedroom and make sure everything was again safe for her to sleep while we were in the kitchen.
