Staying in Sally’s home was, without a doubt, my best experience during my entire time in Portugal. First of all Burgau is the dreamiest little town, and by far my favourite of all the ones I explored in the Algarve. The airbnb itself is a very beautiful old home that looks and feels a bit like a museum, and while it’s very interesting and quite comfortable, it is not the reason why you will absolutely love your stay here. The main reason why you will be so I glad you booked this place is Sally, who is one of the loveliest, kindest, and most fascinating people you will ever meet. She will treat you like family and make you feel right at home. I am forever grateful that I decided to book this airbnb, because not only did I get to stay in a perfectly located place to explore stunning Burgau (close to literally everything), but more importantly because I gained a new and dear friend. I cannot wait to go back and experience the magic again!

A magical place on a favourite beach of the Algarve. The people who run Casa Grande are wonderful and make the whole experience very special—highly recommended.

Mi dispiace moltissimo dover scrivere quanto segue, perchè le persone incontrate durante la permanenza sono state davvero ospitali, amichevoli e gentilissime. La colazione è un momento di interazione con gli altri ospiti davvero simpatico, (anche se avremmo preferito che fosse anticipata un po'). Quello che davvero non va bene è lo stato in cui si trovano la casa e il giardino: il disordine incredibile degli spazi li rende poco fruibili; inoltre gli spazi non sono abbastanza puliti, con grandi quantità di ragnatele in ogni angolo; infine la casa ha urgente bisogno di importante manutenzione. Pavimenti, soffitti e arredi hanno in effetti il fascino del passato, ma sono davvero in cattive condizioni. La zona dove si trova la casa è tranquilla, in un paese piccolo e in un contesto rilassante.
