We had such a fun weekend golfing in the area and canoeing along the river and out to the lake! The perfect quiet getaway from the city. Renee was an excellent host with a very clean and private space!

The place is exactly as described. Quiet and peaceful. Right on the water and access to the canoe was perfect. We will definitely be back and encourage others to check it out. A++++++ experience. Thank you both!!

Great place for two to get away very private quite and cozy beautiful location especially with the river Jorden was very helpful and caring if you needed anything at check in we will definitely be back again and recommend this place 5 star

Staying at Renee’s and Jordan’s Cabin was amazing! They provided easy instructions on how to get to the cottage. Once we got to the place, we got an amazing run-down of where everything is and what is available to use (i.e. Canoe + fire pit). Very easy to reach and always available to help! Our place was amazing and very clean. Everything was accessible and the town was super close (5 minute drive) which had a local grocery store, ice cream (Kawartha) and a fine dining restaurant! The cabin is very private and you feel very safe around the nature. I definitely recommend this place and it’s exactly was we expected. Thank you Jordan and Renee for hosting us and we will for sure be coming back!!

Renee and her husband were absolutely lovely hosts! Upon arrival Jordan brought us to our cabin and gave us a thorough tour after offering to help us with our luggage. He was quick to respond to any and all questions we had while we were staying with them (including bringing an extra life jacket down for me to use). The space was absolutely beautiful - the quiet river flowed right beside us and the trees offered tons of seclusion. We felt as though we weren’t even on their property! As for the cabin itself - a quaint space perfect for lounging and playing cards on the main floor with running water to clean dishes and usb outlets for your devices. The loft is wonderfully built and the sliding ladder is a nice touch for more space, 10/10 would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to possibly staying again!
