This was our second time staying in Jerel’s place and it was so lovely! It’s such a beautiful home and is so perfect for a weekend away with friends. The house has everything that you’d need and it’s in a such a convenient location for exploring the mountains. Definitely would love to stay again :)

Quirky. Quirky. Quirky. But we loved it. Very easy for up to 4 couples to stay there (we had 7 adults). Clear instructions about EVERYTHING, and these were needed because it’s, did I say, quirky. Light switches, water heating etc took some getting used to, but we are fine with that. Multiple living spaces make it very livable. We had excellent weather so can’t comment on what it would be like in the cold. Garden needs some attention, because we had to deal with a few bugs and things inside. But lyrebirds nearby made up for that. The only negative for us is the difficulty of parking. Can really only accommodate two cars, and even this requires logistics. Hoping to rebook for next year.

Outdoor areas were not clean enough to feel inviting. The house inside smelt musty, we had to air out the house to try and minimise the smell. If you want to use the fireplace BYO wood, I would have expected that wood be supplied. The towels provided were not sufficient, not enough floor towels or face washers and not enough sponges in the kitchen. Cobwebs need to be cleaned. Property was clean and presentable however the ceiling has flaked paint, not sure if this is water damage? The property presents tired and in need of some TLC, some cosmetic work is needed to make the appearance more fresh. The vegetation at the front needs trimming back to allow for adequate room to park your car. Also, very difficult to park more than one car and this property. Does not have parking at the front on the street as it is a narrow street. Property is in a lovely location, old world charm and elevated. Large property with lovely spaces for big groups to have some privacy. Close to local cafes

From my very first visit to the Blue Mountains as a child, the mountains has always felt like home to me. Being in touch with all the elements and have nature filling your eyes, ears and scents everyday helps me appreciate what a gift is is to live up here. I have been a mountain man for 24 years now and some say that I'm still not quite a local - but that's ok, I'm not in any rush. Coming from a background in TV production, computer graphics, animation and special effects the bush surrounds were a perfect antidote to the intense mental demands of the work. It has come to be a quiet tranquil retreat full of bird song and the numerous scents from the surrounding bush. I am so happy to be able to share this very special place with you for your peace filled holiday in the Blue Mountains. Why I chose Wentworth Falls I bought Peace in 1996 as a tiny one bedroom cottage. As i lived here for a few years I considered many qualities that i wanted to have in my homes details before the renovations were commenced. Construction was 2000-2003. I have learnt a lot about myself in the process of building. this house has been a labour of love full of blood sweat and tear. But Peace had blossomed into the house she is today. It gives me great pleasure to have shared my homes hundreds of guests over the last several years. I am always inspired to improve my guests experiences and by taking all feedback in to careful consideration and making small improvements in the homes functioning it adds to a pleasurable stay. What makes this House unique It is a cosy yet spacious home. The highlight is the open plan living room, kitchen and dinning it is cool and comfortable in the warm months and warm and cosy in the winter months. It is a peaceful retreat and an inviting place to gather with friends and family. There is plenty of privacy yet warm friendly common areas.
