We’re on the stunning Lizard Peninsula at the head of the Helford River in the waterside village of Gweek. Hand-built from the finest cedar and rooted into the earth as naturally as if it had grown on its own, Kalmynsi is a beautiful, quiet space. Here, you can hunker down by the log burner, with the vintage record player turning or sit on the balcony and listen to nothing but birdsong. Exclusive to Kalmynsi is your own private outdoor seating area 'Valley View' with firepit/bbq . Like its sister space Skapya, Kalmynsi’s serene interior arcs gently from one end to the other, in a long curved design that is unique to Kosel Treehouses. There’s an open-plan sleek kitchen fitted with a black Neff induction hob and a combi oven for you to cook up a romantic feast. And an intimate Scandi-inspired living space made super-cosy with a Graham and Green two-seater sofa and armchair, as well as Big Bertha beanbag. There’s also an Ekol log burner with integrated oven and hot plate to cook on (logs, matches and kindling are provided), Bluetooth LP player, and Smart TV with superfast broadband and Wifi. When bedtime calls, slip into the separate double bedroom at the end of the treehouse and allow yourself to be encased in the naturally soft linen sheets from the Chalk and Pink Linen Company. In the morning, wake up with the birds on your own private balcony then head to the separate shower room and awaken your senses with local handmade toiletries.The shower room is complete with a drenching rainforest shower, heated towel rail, WC and basin.

Very few words can describe this place better than beautiful. Stayed for 2 nights and would return in a heartbeat. The location is peaceful and still close to everything you would want. Gweek is a lovely village with an amazing village store. Also a great base to explore from. The tree house we had was spotless and luxurious, very different to how I would imagine a tree house to be. Set on the edge of a wood, you are surrounded by trees and nature but staying in the most amazing place. From entering the door you walk straight into “WOW”. The kitchen is well appointed, living space is fab (loved the record player) and we loved the log burner. The bathroom/shower is beautiful and the bedroom is super comfy with a door out to a private deck. We met Patrick when we arrived who is very friendly and welcoming. Also met Angie on check out day who is equally as lovely. Thank you for a brilliant short break. From Linda, Amber (dog) and Ian.

Amazing!! Wow what a beautiful place to stay, we loved it from the moment we arrived. Very clean, had everything we needed, welcome hamper which included a lovely gift for us! The fire pit was lovely to sit around and very private. Local shop and pub nearby and not too far to see some beautiful beaches/coves-recommended by Patrick. Patrick was very welcoming and friendly when we spoke to him and what an amazing job he has done, would 100% recommend to anyone and we want to go back already, thank you very much 😊

The Treehouse is absolutely gorgeous - every aspect is beautifully designed and finished. Peaceful and private location that was perfect for an intimate getaway. Also, easy and quick access to a range of local beaches. Would highly recommend!

Kalmynsi Treehouse is set 30 metres apart from Skapya Treehouse on a gentle hillside hidden from view amongst ash, beech and oak trees. The treehouse is also bordered by our 3-acre field, some of which we have recently planted to create a new woodland, with a partially sunken outdoor lounging area reserved just for you.
A short 5 minute walk away is the local shop/deli, pub, riverside cafe and The National Seal Sanctuary.
Fabulous beaches are a 10 minute drive away and the whole of the Helford area has fabulous walks for you to enjoy right from your doorstep.

出行信息

The easiest way to get here is by car but there are trains to Camborne (30mins away by taxi), Flights into NewQuay (45mins away) and a local bus service into Gweek to.
You can also walk from the treehouses into Gweek to the pub/shop/cafe/seal sanctuary - 5mins and there are plenty of country lanes to cycle to the nearby town of Helston a few miles away.
