As always our return to Hidden Gem surpassed our expectations,. Following an unexpected and intense storm, Sherry made sure that we had everything that we needed to weather the situation. Words can’t come close to expressing the tranquility of her sweet space and its location on Middle Bay, and once again, even before leaving we were already thinking about a return…. Grazie mille. Buona Primavera.

Amazing location, very spacious for the two of us, beautifully decorated, so very quiet and peaceful, view of water, kayaks a huge plus!

Peaceful house with lovely furniture and wood stove. Beautiful rugs on wood floors downstairs and plush carpeting upstairs. Spacious and well appointed kitchen, large bathroom and washer dryer units upstairs. Shame bath was not usable. We also had a friendly mouse visit downstairs at night but this may be due to change in weather and I am sure Sherry will be remedying that. Recommended for peaceful break.

Everything with this booking was great. My husband and I had never rented an Air B & B for a week, only a day or two. We weren’t sure what to expect having read many stories on line about not so great experiences. We were extremely happy with our stay. The place was actually more spacious than we thought it would be. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there. The three minute walk to the water was a bonus. Sherry answered questions we had in a timely manner. It eas a great base for our daily excursions. I can honestly say only good things about our experience.

Sherry’s place is an ideal location. You have the peace and quiet of the neighborhood with a short walk to the water. It is just a few minute drive to stores and shopping. We didn’t spend much time at the home as we were out exploring Maine, but this was a great place with the amenities of home. Sherry was extremely responsive to any questions I had. I still gave this place 5 stars, however, if you are sensitive to animals or smells this may trigger your breathing. I have asthma and had to use my inhaler quite a bit. Overall, it was a great place to stay!
